The TVIP420P is a dome camera with varifocal lens that provides non
distortedanddetailedimages.Choosethelocationwherehasgoodangleto
shoottheimageyouexpecttosee.Themotiondetectionareashould alsobe
consideredwheninstallingthecamera.
WeatherConditions
TheTVIP420Pis adome camera,whichfits mostinstallations indoorand
outdoor. Thecameracanworkunderawiderangeofweatherconditions.
For severe weather conditions, a camera housing with temperature and
moisture control is recommended. Using the camera in milder weather
conditionswillhelpextendthecamera’s
productlifeandpreservethequality
ofthevideoimage.
Moisture:Avoiddampormoistenvironmentswheneveryoucan.The
TVIP420PisanIP66grade,IK10waterproofcamera,anditwillwork
inmoistenvironments.However,rainmayaffectthepicturequality,
especially at night, water
may reflect the light from the infrared
illuminationanddegradepicturequality.
Temperature:TVIP420Pworkswithinaspecifiedtemperaturerange.
Areaswithseveretemperaturesshouldbeavoidedwheninstallingthe
camera.It’srecommendedthatyouuseanenclosurewithaheaterand
blower if you plan on using
this camera outside of the specified
temperaturerange.
Sunlight:Avoiddirectsunlightexposure.Directsunlightwilldamage
theimagesensor.Ifsunlightisnecessaryforyourviewingpurposes,
provideprotectionfortheimagesensor.
Lighting:Considerinstallingyourcamerafacesthesamedirectionof
thelight
sources.Shootingimageswithtopdownpositionoutdooror
nexttotheexistinglightsourcearegood choices.Avoidthelightsource
