Handheld Turbobrush features
The handheld Turbobrush is operated
by the suction power of the vacuum
cleaner. It has a rotating roller brush
which is very effective at vacuuming up
thread, hair and fluff.
Use
Recommended use (Fig. 01)
When using the handheld Turbo-
brush, please also observe the IM-
PORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
in your vacuum cleaner instruction
manual.
This handheld Turbobrush is particularly
suitable for vacuuming upholstery, mat-
tresses, car seats and carpeted stairs.
It is also important to observe the
flooring manufacturer's cleaning and
care instructions.
Fitting the handheld Turbobrush
Connect the handheld Turbobrush to
the handle or suction wand on your
vacuum cleaner depending on how
you wish to use it.
Using the handheld Turbobrush
(Fig. 02)
To achieve the best suction effect,
use a medium suction power setting
and pass the Turbobrush slowly back
and forth over the surface being vac-
uumed.
If a medium suction power setting is
not sufficient, select a higher setting.
The rotating head of the brush enables
you to set the optimum angle. Ribs on
the side of the Turbobrush can be used
to dislodge stubborn soiling.
Maintenance of the handheld
Turbobrush
Always turn off the vacuum
cleaner and unplug it before cleaning
or servicing the Turbobrush.
Removing threads and hair
(Fig. 03 + 04)
Use scissors to cut any threads or
hairs which have become wound
around the roller brush. There is a
groove on the roller to guide the scis-
sors(Fig. 03).
Then, run the vacuum cleaner to vac-
uum up the cut pieces.
For stubborn tangles or blockages in-
side the handheld Turbobrush, the
cover can be opened. Any large parti-
cles can then be easily removed.
Press the unlocking button and re-
move the opposite service flap(Fig.
04).
Remove any dirt from the interior and
from the roller brush.
