RECYCLINGLEAD-ACIDBATTERIES
WARNING
Lead-acidbatteriescontainlead(Pb),othermetals,acidsandothercompounds.Ifimproperlyhandled,
theycancontaminatebothwaterandsoil,causingenvironmentaldamageandpersonalinjury.
Lead-acidbatteriesareidentiedbythesymbolshownbelowandshouldbeproperlyrecycled(Figure4).Theycannot

Thetwoletters(1)atthebeginningoftheserialnumberindicatethevehiclemodel.Thefollowingfourdigits(2)
indicatethemodelyearandproductionweekduringwhichthevehiclewasbuilt.Thesixdigits(3)followingthehyphen
