UV STERILIZER

WELCOME

Thank you for purchasing the Multifunction Ultraviolet Sterilizing Box SY-CE30. In order to fully

benefit from this product please read the following instructions carefully and store this user

manual in a safe place for future reference.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The following safety precautions should always be followed, to reduce the risk of electric

shock, personal injury or fire. It is important to read all of these instructions carefully

before using the product, and to save them for future reference or new users.

1. Do not operate this appliance if the cable or plug becomes damaged. A qualified

electrician must always carry out any repairs that are necessary.

2. If the appliance stops unexpectedly or appears to malfunction, switch off the power supply,

unplug from the mains and stop using immediately. Seek professional advice to rectify the

fault or make repairs.

3. Keep the appliance and cable away from sources of heat, sharp objects or anything that

may cause damage.

4. Do not use this product in high temperature or humid environment, keep away from fire

and water.

5. Keep the appliance away from water. Do not use it near or over water contained in bath,

washbasins, shower etc.

6. To protect against electric shock, never allow the appliance, the mains cable or plug to

come into contact with water or any other liquid.

7. Never reach for any appliance that has fallen into water. Switch off the power supply at the

mains immediately and unplug. Do not re-use until the product has been inspected and

approved by a qualified electrician.

8. Always ensure that hands are dry before operating or adjusting any switch on the product

or touching the plug and mains supply connections.

9. Ensure the appliance is switched OFF before connecting to the mains power supply.

10. Do not disassemble the product by yourself.

11. Electrical appliances must always be stored in a secure place, out of reach of children.

12. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

13. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children above the age of 8)

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and

knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the

appliance by a person responsible for their safety if they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards

involved.

15. Never leave the appliance unattended when connected to the mains power supply. To

disconnect, first ensure that all controls are in the OFF position, then remove the plug

from the electricity supply.

16. Never wrap the mains cord around the appliance. Do not hang up by the power cord.

17. Regularly check the mains cord for wear and damage, particularly where it enters the

product and the plug.

18. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent

or similarly qualified people in order to avoid a hazard.

BEFORE USING THE SY-CE30

1. Check the device, making sure it isn’t damaged and in perfect condition

2. Make sure to connect the device to a power supply of a maximum of 3W.

3. A green indicator light on the operation button should flash three times when connected. If

the green light does not turn on, please check whether the charging cable or the power

plug are connected properly.

4. Make sure you use the device in a safe space, away from children and on a flat surface.

5. Make sure the lid of the box closes firmly.

USING THE SY-CE30

For best results, make use of the aromatherapy function which is thoroughly explained

under the section of AROMATHERAPY.

1. Connect the Type-C cable to the UV Box and then to a power supply of a maximum of 3W.

A green light will turn on and flash three times indicating that the device is connected and

working.

2. Insert the item you wish to sterilize into the UV Box and close the lid firmly.

3. Once closed, a 5-minute de-germing process will commence. A green light will light up

and a buzzer will beep indicating that the

ultraviolet light has been turned on inside the box

and the sterilizing process has begun.

4. After a total of 5 minutes, a buzzer will beep three

times in a row indicating the end of the

sterilization process.

5. Once the buzzer has stopped, the ultraviolet light

will turn off automatically. This then indicates that

it is safe to open the lid and take out the contents

from the box.

6. If the UV box hasn’t been used in a long time, a

preheating process might commence which lasts

around 10 seconds (once the lid is closed).

7. To further improve the sterilization process, use

the aromatherapy function.

NOTE: Opening the lid automatically turns off the ultraviolet function with the use of the magnet

switch in order to prevent harmful effects to the human body.

AROMATHERAPY FUNCTION

• The aroma sterilizing function will further improve the sterilization

process by improving the products’ scent as well as degerming it.

• Drip 2 to 3 drops of a perfume of your choice into the aromatherapy

holes inside the ultraviolet box.

• Do not use a perfume which contains any percentage of alcohol

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. The appliance must be unplugged before cleaning.

2. Use the damp cloth to clean the plates and housing.

3. Do not use any harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents or cleaners. Never immerse in

water to clean.

4. Dry thoroughly before use.

5. Do not replace any parts of the product by yourself – always use an authorized

representative or qualified technician.
