La Garantía hasta dos años se constituye como una garantía diferente y adicional que no

es otorgada concreta y específicamente a favor del cliente y aparato que se menciona.

La Garantía cubre durante el plazo de dos años

a partir de la fecha de recepción de este aparato,

todas las reparaciones que realice el Servicio de Asistencia Técnica Oficial.

EXCLUSIONES DE LA PRESENTE GARANTÍA.

Queda excluido de la cobertura de la presente Garantía, y por tanto será a cargo del usuario

el coste total de la reparación, lo siguiente:

Las averías provocadas por negligencia o mal uso del aparato por parte del consumidor.

b) Las averías producidas por causas de caso fortuito, fuerza mayor (fenómenos

atmosféricos o geológicos) y siniestros.

c) Las averías o daños derivados de instalación incorrecta, no legal o de energía o

combustible no idóneos.

d) Esta garantía no cubre las operaciones de mantenimiento periódico del producto.

e) Los aparatos utilizados en establecimientos industriales o comerciales.

f) Los daños y perjuicios que puedan originarse al usuario como consecuencia del no

funcionamiento del aparato por averías.

La presente Garantía quedará anulada y por tanto sin efecto alguno si el aparato ha sido

manipulado, modificado o reparado por personas no autorizadas o servicios técnicos que no

EN1 / INTRODUCTION TO YOUR MACHINE

•SAFETY ADVICE

Important:

This machine is only for domestic use and

is designed to wash, rinse, spin and, depending on

the model, dry machine-washable textiles.

ou must observe the following instructions. We

refuse to accept any liability and the guarantee if

you do not observe these recommendations since

this could result in damage to equipment or

physical injury.

— This appliance is not intended for use by persons

(including children) with reduced physical, sensory

or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and

knowledge, unless they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the

appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

— The machine must only be used in accordance

with its normal method of operation in order to

avoid damaging your washing and your machine.

Only use washing and maintenance products

certified for use in domestic washing machines.

— If you pre-treat your washing with stain removers,

solvents or, in general, any inflammable or

potentially highly explosive product, do not insert

them into the machine immediately.

Furthermore, you are also recommended not to use

solvents or products in aerosol cans near to your

washing machine or any electrical appliance in

general in a poorly ventilated room (risk of fire and

explosion).

— If any incidents occur and you cannot resolve

them using the remedies we recommend (see the

section “INCIDENTS THAT MAY OCCUR”), call in a

qualified professional.

— If you have to open your machine during a cycle

(for example, to add or remove washing),

depending on the stage the programme is at

(during washing essentially), be careful of the

temperature inside the machine, which may be very

high (risk of severe burns).

— When making a new installation, the machine

must be connected to the water supply with a new

hose: the old hose must not be re-used.

— Do not let children play with the machine and

keep your pets away from it.

— You must immediately make any obsolete

machine unusable. Disconnect and cut off the

power cable flush with the machine. Close the

water tap and remove the hose. Disable the door

lock.

— If there is a risk of frost, disconnect the water hose

and drain off any water that may remain in the drain

hose by placing this as low as possible in a bowl.

•

For washer-dryers:

— Before drying, remove the detergent dispensers

placed in the drum with your washing. Their plastic

material cannot withstand the drying temperatures.

•SAVING ENERGY

— Only programme a prewash when it is absolutely

necessary: for example, for very dirty sports or

working clothes, etc.

— A low temperature programme is sufficient for

impeccable washing results when your washing is

only slightly or moderately dirty.

— For washing that is only slightly dirty, select a

short washing cycle.

— Use the right amount of washing products for the

hardness of the water, the amount of washing and

how dirty it is and follow the instructions on the

detergent packs.

•

For washer-dryers:

— If you spin at high speed, little dampness will

remain and you will therefore consume little

electricity. Even synthetic textiles can be spun

before drying.

— Choosing your drying time well also helps to save

water and electricity.

— Avoid wasting water and electricity by not over-

drying your laundry.

•

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

his appliance’s packaging material is

recyclable. Help recycle it and protect the

environment by dropping it off in the municipal

receptacles provided for this purpose.

Your appliance also contains a great

amount of recyclable material. It is

marked with this label to indicate that

in countries that are a members of

the European Union the used appliances

should not be mixed with other waste.

This way, the appliance recycling organised

by your manufacturer will be done under the

best possible conditions, in compliance with

European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste

Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Contact

your town hall or your retailer for the used

appliance collection points closest to your

home.

•REMOVING THE TRANSPORT

CLAMPS

Important:

Before using the machine in any way, you

must first perform the following operations.

These comprise removing all the components

designed to immobilise the drum in your machine

during transport.

These so-called “releasing” operations are

necessary for your machine to operate correctly

and to conform to the prevailing safety standards.

If they are not carried out completely, this could

cause severe damage to your machine while it is

operating.

First of all remove the piece of expanded

polystyrene from under the lid

tube spanner or a straight-edged screwdriver.

— Remove the clamp .

— Free the power cable from the plastic holder

clipping it to the transport clamp.

— Plug the holes left by the clamp using the plugs

supplied and re-screw the 4 external screws

into the casing.

Advice:

We would recommend that you keep all

the locking components since these must be

refitted if you must subsequently transport your

machine again.

Information:

Your machine has been scrupulously

checked before it left the factory. You may

therefore notice a little water still remaining in the

tank or the products box.

Setting on castors

Your machine is equipped with removable castors,

you will be able to move it quite easily

To move your machine, unclip and slide the castor

release handle from right to left

(Figure 03)

Important:

Your machine must not still be on its

castors when in operation: remember to return the

lever to its initial position.

•CONNECTING TO THE COLD

WATER SUPPLY

Your washing machine can be connected to any

cold water pipe.

Connect the supply hose provided to a threaded

20x27 Ø tap (3/4 BSP) not forgetting to insert the

seal supplied (depending on the model, the hose

may already be fitted with a seal)

•DRAINING AWAY THE WASTE

— Either, temporarily, over a sink or a bathtub.

— Or permanently to a ventilated U-bend.

If your installation does not have a ventilated U-

bend, check that the connection is not sealed. In

fact, to avoid any waste water flowing back into the

machine, you are strongly recommended to leave

an air gap between the machine’s drain hose and

the drainpipe.

In any case, the drain hose bracket must be placed

at a height of 0.80 m to 1.10 m higher than the base

of the machine.

Important:

Ensure that the drain hose is tied

firmly in place with cord to avoid the bracket

coming loose during draining and causing a

flood.

•CONNECTING TO THE

ELECTRICITY SUPPLY

Important:

For your safety, you must comply with the

instructions below.

— Before connecting your machine, you must

ensure that your installation’s electrical

characteristics match those of your machine (see

the details provided on the information plate affixed

to the back of the machine).

The electrical installation must comply with the

prevailing standards and the Electricity Board’s

regulations in the country concerned, particularly

as regards Earthing and installation in shower

rooms.

We cannot be held responsible for any incident

caused by the machine being incorrectly earthed.

Advice:

Advice on the electrical installation of

your machine

— Do not use an extension lead, adapter or multiple

socket.

— Never cut out the Earth wire.

— The socket must be readily accessible but out of

the reach of children.

If in any doubt, please contact your installer.

Important:

Your machine conforms to European

Directives EEC/73/23 (Low Voltage Directive) and

EEC/89/336 (Electromagnetic Compatibility) as

modified by Directive EEC/93/68.

•REPLACING THE POWER SUPPLY

CABLE

Warning:

For your safety, the power cable and,

depending on the model, the complete electric

box and its associated cable must only be

replaced by the manufacturer’s After-Sales

Service or a qualified electrician.

•INSTALLING YOUR MACHINE

Important:

If you are installing your machine next to

another machine or a unit, we recommend that

you leave a gap between them to allow for air

circulation.

Advice:

We also strongly recommend that you

do NOT:

— Install your machine in a damp, poorly ventilated

room.

— Install your machine in an area where it could be

subject to water splashes.

— Install your machine on a carpeted floor.

If you cannot avoid doing this, please take every

precaution to avoid blocking air circulation at the

bottom of the machine in order to ensure that the

internal components are well ventilated.

For washer-dryers:

— The appliances must not be installed behind a

lockable door or a sliding door.

•

Levelling the machine

— Set your machine on its castors.

— Unscrew the two screws with a straight-edged

screwdriver (

Figure 05 )

— Level the machine by adjusting the two feet using

a flat spanner or a pair of pliers.

— Set the machine back on the floor by sliding the

castor release lever to check the chocking.

— If the machine is correctly level, retighten the two

locking screws.

NB: To align your machine with your units, you can

break off the fixing hooks for the hoses.

Take care not to squash the hoses!

Advice:

To assist you in caring for your textiles, they are provided with a label summarising the

information required. This information is expressed as a code using the symbols below :

•TREATING STUBBORN STAINS

Advice:

Stains caused by sweat, blood, fruit, wine

or chocolate generally disappear when using

biological detergents but some stains require

specific treatment before being place din the

machine. Perform a test first of all on a scarcely

visible part of the textile and rinse thoroughly.

If you use a stain remover, always start at the

outside of the stain to avoid any rings.

CANDLEWAX: remove as much of the stain as

possible by scratching it. Then place absorbent

paper on both sides of the textile and iron the stain

to melt the rest of the wax.

COFFEE - TEA: On white cotton: dab the stain with

oxygenated water* before washing normally

- On coloured cotton: dab the stain with a water-

vinegar solution (2 soup spoons of white vinegar to

¼ litre of water) before washing normally

- On woollen: dab the stain with a mixture of equal

parts of alcohol* and white vinegar before washing

the item.

OIL - TAR: use liquid stain remover* or, failing this,

spread a little fresh butter on the stain, leave it for a

while and then dab with turpentine*.

CHEWING GUM: chill it using an ice cube. As soon

as it is hard enough, scrape it off with your

fingernail. Remove any remaining ring with a de-

greasing product*.

CHOCOLATE - FRUIT - FRUIT JUICE - WINE: dab

the stain with a water vinegar solution (2 soup

spoons of white vinegar to ¼ litre of water). Rinse

well and wash normally.

BALLPOINT / FELT TIP PEN: remove as much of

the ink as possible by dabbing the stain with

absorbent paper. Place a clean white cloth under

the stain and dab the stain with another cloth

soaked in white vinegar for synthetic and artificial

fibres or 90° proof alcohol* for other fibres (if this is

suitable for the textile).

GRASS: dab the stain with white vinegar or 90°

proof alcohol* (if this is suitable for the textile) and

then rinse and wash.

GREASE: sprinkle the textile immediately with talc.

Leave to dry and brush gently to remove the talc.

Then dab with a de-greasing product of the mineral

oil* type. Rinse and wash normally.

KETCHUP - TOMATO SAUCE: prepare a solution of

one part glycerene to one part warm water. Soak

the item for an hour; then proceed to wash

normally.

PAINT: do not leave paint stains to dry. Treat them

immediately with the solvent indicated on the paint

tin (water, turpentine*, white spirit*). Soap and then

rinse.

MAKE-UP: place the stained surface of the fabric on

absorbent paper, then dampen the reverse of the

fabric with 90° proof alcohol* (if this is suitable for

the textile) and provided that the stain is not greasy.

Otherwise, opt for a de-greasing product

(trichlorethylene* type).

RUST: for slight stains, cover with salt, squeeze

lemon juice over the salt and leave overnight: then

rinse thoroughly and wash. For heavier stains, use

an anti-rust product, carefully following the

manufacturer's instructions.

BLOOD: soak the stained item as quickly as

possible in cold salty water, then proceed to wash

normally.

•Using stain-removing products

Important:

To avoid any risk of fire or explosion:

(*) If you are using the products recommended in

the remedies above, take care to rinse your

washing thoroughly before placing it in the

machine.

— If you are using commercial stain removers,

follow the manufacturer's instructions very

carefully.

We would remind you that, generally, stains

treated immediately can be easily removed. On

the other hand, old stains that have been ironed or

tumble-dried cannot be removed.

•Sorting your washing

Please refer to the table on the preceding page for

sorting your washing and selecting a suitable

programme for the labels. Whenever you are

washing a mixed load, use the programme for the

most delicate fabric.

When washing new textiles, as a precaution, first

check that the textile does not run: see "Colour

test" below.

•Colour test

When being washed for the first time, coloured

textiles frequently run unless guaranteed to be

colourfast. Before starting the machine, perform the

following test:

— Select an invisible part of the textile

— Dampen it with warm water

— Then press it against a white cloth

- If the textile does not run, you can machine-wash

it normally

- If the textile runs, machine-wash it separately of

by hand.

Checking your washing

Important:

Failure to observe the following advice

can cause severe and even irremediable damage

(damage to the drum, torn washing, etc.) and

rescinds the guarantee.

— Empty the pockets.

— Close any zips and press-studs.

— Remove any curtain hooks or place your curtains

in a washing net.

— Remove any poorly attached buttons, pins and

hooks.

— Place small items of laundry (ribbons, pouches,

etc.) in a washing net.

— Turn multi-layer textiles inside out (sleeping bags,

anoraks).

— Turn knitwear, textiles with sewn-on decorations

and trousers inside out .

•

For washer-dryers:

Your washing is composed of different types of

fibres, of different origins: the various items may

therefore behave very differently during drying.

As a general rule, all machine-washable textiles can

be dried in a domestic tumble dryer except for:

— Woollens, silks, net curtains, plasticised fabrics,

tights and nylon stockings

— Chlorofibres (Thermolactyl* for example)

* Registered trademark

— Foam, plastic or rubber-coated items or any items

with a framework that could become detached,

bulky items (duvets, eiderdowns, etc.)

— Washing that has not been spun

— Items washed with chemical products.

Advice:

You must however avoid drying light

textiles and thick cotton textiles at the same time.

The weight of the thick cotton textiles can crease

lighter ones.

It is better to dry textiles not guaranteed colourfast

separately.

LOADING YOUR WASHING

Perform these actions in the following order:

•Open the machine

— Check that the machine is switched off.

— Open the machine’s door

— Press the button on the front flap

•Insert your washing

— For optimum washing performance, place the

previously sorted and folded washing in the drum,

distributing it evenly without heaping it up. Mix large

and small items to obtain optimum spin-drying

without unbalancing.

— Check that no items have fallen down the side the

drum.

•Close the drum

— Close the drum using both hands, ensuring that

the button returns to the correct position

Important:

The coloured section must be visible.

•BEFORE YOUR FIRST WASH

Important:

Before making your first wash, we

recommend that you carry out a “COTTON 60°

wash without pre-wash” and with no washing in

the drum, using a 1/2 measure of your usual

detergent in order to eliminate any residues from

manufacturing that may remain in your machine.

Important:

— The “WASH” container may contain powder or

liquid but liquid detergent should not be used for

programmes WITH

Prewash and/or WITH

“Delayed Start” (depending on the model).

— Concentrated softener should be diluted with

warm water.

— Concentrated bleach must be diluted.

— To fill the product containers correctly, place the

lid fully open.

— Do not exceed the MAX

level.

•Dispensing the detergent

The amount of detergent to be used depends on

the hardness of the water, the extent to which your

washing is soiled and the amount of washing to be

washed.

Please refer to the dosing instructions on your pack

of detergent.

Warning: in most cases, the detergent

manufacturer’s recommendations apply to the

drum filled to the maximum. Adjust the dosage

correctly to the weight of the washing you have

placed in the machine.

These recommendations will help you to avoid

using too much detergent, which causes foam to

be produced. Too much foam can reduce your

machine’s performance and increase the length of

the washing cycle and the consumption of water.

All the buttons are on micro-switches and do not remain depressed.

If one of the cycle progress lights is lit when you switch on, cancel before carrying out any other

operation.

In any case, the ”On/Off” button (Marcha/Paro) cannot cancel a programme.

NB: If you have selected a ”Delay Start”, you can instantaneously access

•Maintaining your machine’s performance (Maintaining the pump filter):

— When the message ”Filt” appears at the end of the cycle, you must ensure

that the pump filter is clean (see the section on ”CLEANING THE PUMP

FILTER”).

NB: This message disappears when you programme a new cycle.

Cancelling during programming or washing or during a pause:

— Hold down the ”Start/Pause” button (Inicio/Pausa) for at least 1

second.

This can be done at any time during the cycle or during programming, or

even during a pause.

NB: If you do this while the machine is waiting to start during a delayed

start, only the delayed start is cancelled.

Return to initial display

Important :

Before starting your machine, check that the power cable is plugged in and the water tap is open.

Also ensure that the drum doors are closed correctly and the machine’s lid is shut.

As a safety measure, when the cycle is over, we recommend that you unplug the power cable and turn off

the water tap.

For more details on the various functions, please refer to the sections "DETAILS OF THE PROGRAMMES"

and "DETAILS OF THE OPTIONS".

Information :

If you have stopped your machine by pressing the ”On/Off” button

(Marcha/Paro)

or after a power

failure, when the power is restored the washing cycle automatically returns to the point at which it was

interrupted.

•DETAILS OF THE PROGRAMMES

The main programmes provided by the machine are

as follows:

•Cotton

f your washing comprises hard-wearing white or

coloured COTTONS.

Important:

When washing coloureds do not exceed a

maximum temperature of 60°C.

NB : During the first few minutes of the programme,

your machine automatically evaluates the washing

load you have introduced and adapts the water

consumption and the length of the programme

accordingly to provide a perfect wash.

•Mixed 45min (MIXTO 45min

))

This 40°C programme enables you to wash a usual

3kg load of cottons and mixed textiles in 45

minutes while ensuring perfect washing results and

maximum energy savings.

•Synthetics

If your washing comprises of DELICATE

COLOURS, HARD-WEARING SYNTHETICS or

MIXED FIBRES.

•

Delicates

If your washing comprises NETTING,

DELICATE FABRICS or FRAGILE TEXTILES.

•Wool

If your washing comprises NET CURTAINS,

DELICATE TEXTILES, FRAGILE ITEMS or

“MACHINE-WASHABLE” WOOLLENS.

•Flash 30’

This programme enables you to refresh a small load

of 3 kg of lightly soiled washing composed of

WHITES, COTTONS, COLOUREDS or HARD-

WEARING SYNTHETICS.

The cycle time is restricted to around 30 minutes

In this programme, the washing temperature is

automatically programmed at 40°C.

Important:

For this programme, the doses of

detergent should be reduced by half.

To select the most suitable programme for your type of washing, follow the instructions on the labels that

most textiles bear.

A separate rinse followed by a choice of:

— Either spin and drain

— Or drain only (”Drip-dry” option)

— Or a stop with the drum full of water..

This allows a separate spin and drain.

Important :

In the case of ”Rinse only” followed by a

spin or of ”Spin only”, take care to select a

suitable spin speed for the type of washing in the

machine.

•DETAILS OF THE OPTIONS

•Prewash

Specially designed for heavily soiled washing (mud,

blood, etc.).

Important :

Detergent must be placed in the

container in the products’ box.

•

Rinse plus

”Especially for sensitive and allergic skin”: adds an

extra rinse to the washing cycle.

•Easy ironing

Makes you washing easier to iron.

This option allows you to wash and spin your washing

more gently without any loss of performance.

•Eco

ECO

The ”Eco” function provides you with perfect washing

results while saving on energy. It reduces the washing

temperature and increases the agitation period.

•Intensive

This function improves washing performance and

handles reputedly stubborn stains by automatically

increasing the temperature in the drum and the

agitation time.

•Delay start

You can delay the start of your programme by 1 to

19 hours to take advantage of off-peak rates or

finish the cycle at a particular time.

To do this, press button and select function ” ”

(Delay start). Then press button land select the

cycle starting time.

NB: While the machine is waiting to start, display

shows the time remaining before the cycle

effectively starts.

•Remaining time

During programming, you can find out the length of

the selected cycle* by pressing button and

selecting function ” ” (Remaining time).

NB: If you select the ”time remaining” function while

the machine is waiting to start in ”delayed start”

mode, it is the selected programme’s time that is

permanently displayed.

(*) The time indicated by the machine at the start of

the programme may vary during the course of the

cycle:

- If you change the washing temperature (even

during a spin) or if you add or cancel options, the

time will be recalculated and updated on the

display.

- Certain operating variables (for instance: detection

of imbalance or foam, etc.) can also alter the cycle’s

duration.

- If there is a power failure during washing, when the

power is restored, the time displayed may be less

than the actual remaining time. This time will be

updated at the start of the rinsing phase.

•Full drum stop

This is used for textiles that you do not wish to spin

or if you envisage being absent for a long time after

the washing is finished.

When this function is selected, the cycle interrupts

before the final spin, enabling your washing to soak

in the water to avoid creasing.

NB: When the machine stops with the drum full of

water, display does not count off the time

remaining but remains fixed (including the point)

and cycle progress light ” ” flashes.

Then:

— You either wish to drain and spin.

In which case, select the function

•MODIFYING A WASHING

PROGRAMME

•During programming:

You can alter anything before you press the

”Start/Pause” button (Inicio/Pausa) .

•After the cycle starts:

— You cannot alter the type of textile (for example,

change from «COTTON» to «SYNTHETICS» or

from «SYNTHETICS» to «WOOL», etc.).

NB:

If you turn the programme selector to a

different textile, the progress cycle light which is

lit at the time, and the display flash for a few

seconds to indicate that such an alteration is

prohibited and will not be effected.

To change the type of fabric during the cycle, you

must cancel the current programme and then

programme a new cycle.

— However, you can change the washing

temperature at the start of the washing phase for

the same type of textile.

NB: The time remaining will then be adjusted

accordingly.

— You can also change the spin speed throughout

the cycle.

— You can select ”Drip-dry” and ”Full drum stop” up

to the end of rinsing (until the cycle progress light

goes out)

— You can activate option “ ” (Rinse plus) up to

the point that rinsing commences (until cycle

progress light illuminates).

— You can deactivate all the options at any time

during the cycle provided that the particular action

has not already been completed.

•During delayed start:

—

Any kind of programme modification is accepted

during a delayed start’s waiting period.

— You can change the period for a ”delayed start”

period throughout the whole of the waiting period,

right up to the effective cycle starting time.

NB:

During this period, selecting a new time cancels

out the previous selection. The new period selected

is accepted based on the last selection made.

- If you wish to cancel ”Delayed start” during this

period, set display to ”0” and then briefly press

button .

The cycle will then start immediately.

— You can only activate option “ ” (Prewash)

during the waiting period for a ”Delayed start”.

— You can only modify the options “ ” (Easy

ironing),

“

ECO

”

(Eco) and

“

(Intensive) during

the waiting period for a ”Delayed start”.

•When the cycle is over:

When the display shows “- 0 -”, you can programme

a new cycle without having to press the “On/Off”

button (Marcha/Paro) again.

To do this, all you need to do is to press one of the

buttons , , or .

The machine is then ready to be

reprogrammed.

•AUTOMATIC SAFETY SYSTEMS

•

Lid opening safety system:

As soon as washing commences, the lid on your

machine is locked.

When the cycle is finished or when the machine has

stopped with the drum full of water, the lid unlocks.

If you have programmed a "Delayed start", the lid is

not locked until the waiting period is over and the

cycle starts.

If you wish to open the lid during the cycle, press

button briefly and wait 1-2 minutes for the safety

system to unlock the lid.

•Water safety system:

During operation, constant control of the

water prevents any overflows.

•Spin safety system:

Your washing machine is fitted with a safety

system that restricts the spin when poor load

distribution is detected.

In this case, your washing may be

insufficiently spun. Redistribute your washing

in the drum and programme a new spin.

•Anti-foam system:

You machine can detect when too much foam

is being produced during spinning.

At such times, spinning stops and the

machine drains.

The cycle then restarts, adapting the spin

rates and possibly adding an extra rinse.

•CLEANING THE PUMP FILTER

•”Filt” message:

After a certain number of cycles, your machine

(depending on the model) will warn you that you

should clean the pump filter.

At the end of the cycle, the display

flashes and then shows:

NB: This message disappears when you

programme a new cycle.

Important :

If you do not clean the pump filter regularly,

this will affect your machine’s performance.

•Cleaning the filter

Important:

First of all drain the machine and then

disconnect the plug.

Remove the plinth

and place a floor

cloth and a flat container under the access to the

pump.

If your machine is fitted with one, remove the

purge hose.

—

Open the stopper at the end of the hose and let

the water flow into the container

Close the stopper, ensuring that it is pushed in

well and reclip it in place.

Unscrew the stopper for the drain pump’s filter

Clean the filter. To re-insert it, snap it in by orienting

the small lug on the cylindrical surface upwards and

screwing the stopper in fully

Re-install the plinth in its original position.

Important:

When you next wash, check that there are

no leaks during filling.

•CLEANING THE MACHINE

Only use a sponge, liquid soap and water to clean

the casing, the entry to the drum, the control

panel and the products’ box, etc.

—

Never use: abrasive powders, metal or plastic

sponges, alcohol-based products, thinners, etc.

•CLEANING THE PRODUCTS’ BOX

— Clean everything with warm water, not forgetting

to wash the removable siphon (blue). Check that

you have replaced it correctly.

— Then re-insert the whole box, checking that it is

positioned correctly.

•PERIODIC CHECKS

To avoid any water damage, we recommend that

you regularly check the condition of the water and

drain hoses. If you notice the slightest cracking, do

not hesitate to replace the hoses with identical

ones available from the manufacturer or his After-

Sales Service.

•REMOVING THE DRUM’S PADDLE

If an item of washing falls between the drum and

the side of the tub, empty the drum and close it.

— Turn the drum until the paddle locks.

— Unscrew the screw between the two openings

(stamped TORX. T20) and remove it. The paddle will

fall into the drum (use a terry towelling towel to

cushion its fall as a precaution).

— Turn the drum back and open it.

— Recover the fallen item through the holes

revealed by removing the paddle.

— To refit the paddle, slip it from front to back over

its support.

— Close the drum and turn it. Hold the paddle while

you re-insert the screw.

Possible causes / Remedies

•

The cycle does not start (1 and 2)

— You have not pressed the ”Start /Pause” button

(Inicio/Pausa)

— There is no power to the machine:

- Check that the plug is correctly in the socket.

- Check the circuit breaker and the fuses.

— The water tap is shut off.

— The machine’s lid is not closed properly.

•

Heavy vibration during spin (1 and 2)

— Your machine has not been correctly released:

- Check that all the transport material has been

removed (see “REMOVING THE TRANSPORT

CLAMPS”)

— The floor is not horizontal.

— Your machine is not stable on its four feet (see “

LEVELLING THE MACHINE”)

•

The washing is not spun or is insufficiently

spun (1 and 2)

— You have selected a programme with no spin, for

example ”Drip-dry”.

— The spin safety system has detected poor

distribution of the washing in the drum:

- Untangle the washing and programme a new

spin.

•

The machine does not drain (1 and 2)

— You have programmed ”Full drum stop”..

— The pump or the drain filter is blocked:

- Clean them (see “MAINTAINING YOUR

MACHINE”).

— The drain hose is kinked or squashed.

•

The lid does not open (1 and 2)

— The programme has not yet finished.

The lid remains locked throughout the

programme.

•

You wish just to wash but a drying cycle

starts automatically (2)

— You have programmed a drying cycle.

•

The drying cycle does not start (2)

— You have not selected a drying time.

Points to be checked in the event of an incident occurring:

•

The drum doors open too slowly (depending

on the model)

— Your machine has not operated for a long time.

— It is located in too cold a position.

— Detergent residue (powder) is blocking the

hinges.

- In all cases, everything returns to normal once

the doors have opened initially.

•

A pool of water forms around the machine

(1 and 2)

Warning:

First of all remove the electrical plug from

the socket and close the water tap. Then check

whether:

— The drain hose bracket is wrongly positioned in

the drain pipe.

— The water hose’s connections to the machine and

the tap are properly watertight:

- Check that the seals are in place and the

connections are tight.

•

Foam overflows (1 and 2)

— You have used too much detergent.

— You have not used a detergent designed for

washing machines:

- Drain and then programme several rinses. Then

restart the washing programme.

•

The washing is not as dry as you wish (2)

— The drying programme selected is not suitable for

the type of textile placed in the machine (Pay

attention to the information provided on the labels

sewn on the clothes).

— The drying time selected is not suitable:

- For the level of dryness desired: increase or

reduce the drying time accordingly.

— The load of dried washing is greater than the

maximum authorised load (see “PROGRAMMES

TABLE”).

— The washing to be dried has not been spun

sufficiently.
