Running in 2133MHz (not Advertised speed), please check this out.
Whenever you insert RAM that’s advertised with faster-than-standard speeds(e.g.
above 3000MHz), just head to the BIOS and enable XMP to ensure that RAM is
actually running at those speeds. While its simple, its easy to missespecially if
you’ve never heard of XMP and don’t know you need to perform this extra step.
Otherwise, for safety reason your system might boot at the standard speed of SPD.
(2133MHz/2400MHz in normal case of DDR4 memory, shown as
1066.7MHz/1200MHz in CPU-Z ).
What Is Intel XMP ?
Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) is a specification serving as an extension to the standard
JEDEC SPD specifications developed by Intel. XMP is intended to make overclocking
easier and more accessible to new users through profiles and predefined overclocking
configurations that are known to be stable.
High speed memory can provide significant gains in various workloads from gaming
to content creation. With the help of XMP, unlocking more performance can be as
simple as turning it on in your system BIOS.
How to enable XMP ?
To enable XMP, you must install your high-performance memory on a motherboard
that supports XMP in some form, and enable XMP within your motherboard's
overclocking utility.
If your motherboard supports overclocking, but doesn’t offer the ability to read the
XMP of a module, you can restart your computer and press the appropriate key at
the start of the boot process–often Esc”, “Delete”, “F2”, or “F10”. Look for an option
named “XMP”.
This option may be right on the main settings screen, or may be in an “overclocking
options section.
Select a single XMP profile you can enable. (In some cases, you may just have one
option to “Enable” or “Disable”.)
Your BIOS can read these profiles and automatically configure the optimal timings
chosen by your RAM’s manufacturer.
These will be the RAMs advertised timings. So you no longer have to go into your
BIOS and manually set the RAM timings value by value.
Enable XMP in 3 simple steps
1.Enter the UEFI/BIOS setting menu.
2 Enable XMP and choose the profile.
3. Save and restart your computer.
