Installation Reversing the Door (cont.)
Reversing the Door
1. Do not place your refrigerator in direct sunlight, near a heat source or in a damp
area. The refrigerator will not operate properly in temperatures below 55F.
2. The refrigerator should be located on a completely flat surface. Leave at least 1”
between each side of the refrigerator and walls or cabinets. Leave a minimum of
1½” clearance for the top and back of the refrigerator.
3. The leveling legs on the front corners can be adjusted by turning clockwise to
raise the appliance and counter clockwise to lower it. The front of the
refrigerator shoud be slightly elevated to ensure the door closes tightly.
Ne: After power failure, even in summer, the refrigerator can store food
normally for several hours. In case of a power failure, reduce the
frequency of door opening to maintain temperature.
.
The door is attached to open from the left side. To switch the door to open from
the right, follow these directions (diagram on page 7):
1. Remove the top hinge cover and 3 top hinge screws. Remove the top hinge.
2. Remove the freezer door.
3. Remove the plugs.
4. Remove the middle hinge screws and middle hinge.
5. Remove the refrigerator door.
6. Remove the right and left leveling legs.
7. Remove 3 bottom hinge screws and remove the bottom hinge.
8. Install the bottom hinge on the opposite side with 3 screws.
9. Install the right and left leveling legs into the holes under the refrigerator.
10. Install the refrigerator door on the opposite side. Add the middle hinge and
screws.
12. Install the freezer door on the opposite side. Secure with the top hinge
and 3 screws.
13. Attach the top hinge cover and replace all plugs.
14. Adjust the leveling legs (see number 3 under “installation”).

Cleaning & CareHow to Use
1. The appliance should be maintained and cleaned frequently.
2. Turn o and unplug the appliance.
3. Remove shelves and wash in warm soapy water. Do not use abrasive brushes or
pads, or harsh cleaning solutions.
4. Use a soft cloth, sponge or rubber spatula to remove any stuck-on food or
residue.
5. Clean the interior of the refrigerator with water and baking soda (use about 2
T. of soda per quart of water). Rinse with clean water and wipe dry with
a soft cloth. Do not splash water in the refrigerator.
6. The door gasket must be kept clean to ensure proper seal. Clean frequently
using mild detergent and a soft cloth. Wipe dry before closing door.
7. Wipe the refrigerator exterior with a damp cloth (mild detergent may be used,
if necessary) and wipe dry.
8. Heavy frost build-up in the freezer will increase energy consumption. Defrost
the freezer whenever the frost is 1/4” thick or more:
A. Take all the food out of the freezer and refrigerator.
B. Remove the shelves.
C. Turn the refrigerator OFF and unplug the power cord.
D. Open the doors and wait for the ice to melt (this may take several
hours) wipe up the water with adry cloth.
E. When done, reset the temperature control.
Ne: Do not use sharp or pointed objects to remove the ice, as they may
damage the walls or cooling coils!
9. Ensure all parts are dried thoroughly before reassembling and using the
appliance.
Ne: Allow the refrigerator to stand upright for 4 hours before using. Allow
24 hours if refrigerator was shipped on it’s side.
1. Food should be kept in sealed containers to avoid odors and drying.
2. Hot food should be cooled down before placing into the appliance. When you
place hot food in the refrigerator, the overall interior temperature will warm
and energy consumption will increase.
3. Leave space between items in the refrigerator.
4. Reducing the frequency of door opening can decrease energy consumption.
5. The temperature of the refrigerator interior is controlled using the temperature
control knob. The larger the number is, the cooler the interior temperature will
be. 0 stands for OFF. 7 stands for the coldest temperature level. Turn the knob
to 4 under normal weather conditions and turn to a higher number for warm
weather conditions. We recommend using a refrigerator thermometer to
monitor the actual temperature inside the refrigerator.
Ne: If you plan to be away for an extended period of time, remove all the
food and unplug the cord. After defrosting (see page 9), wipe
the refrigerator dry, and leave the door propped open.
