To reduce the risk of injury and property damage, read this entire guide before assembling, installing, operating, and
maintaining the laundry dryer. Failure to execute the instructions in this manual can cause personal injury or property
damage. Children should always be supervised when around and using this appliance. Always exercise basic safety
precautions, including the following:
Risk of Fire
The installation must be performed by a qualified installer according to the manufacturers instructions and local
codes.
Do not install with flexible plastic venting materials. If flexible metal(foil type) duct is installed, it must be made
of a specific type identified by the appliance manufacturer as suitable with the dryer. Otherwise it might collapse,
crush and trap lint, which will obstruct airflow and increase the risk of fire.
To reduce the risk of severe injury or death, follow all Installation instructions.
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in possible electric shock.
Check with a qualified electrician or service representative or personnel if you have doubts as to whether the
appliance is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance: if it does not fit the outlet,
have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
Place the dryer in a dry and well ventilated area. It should be positioned away from heat and direct sunlight.
Do not use any type of spray cleaner when cleaning the interior. If the drum becomes stained, clean the drum
with a damp cloth. Clean the cabinet with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. This could
damage the dryer.
Do not dry articles that have been previously cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or spotted with gasoline, dry-
cleaning solvents, or other flammable or explosive substances, as they give off vapours that could ignite or explode.
Do not place items that have been soiled with flammable liquids inside the dryer without washing them with
detergent thoroughly beforehand.
Remove any residue before drying the next load.
The dryer must be placed on firm horizontal surface. Do not place the dryer on carpet as this will block the air
intake There should be at least 10cm (4 inch) between the dryer and the walls.
For Your Safety
Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Close supervision of children is necessary when the appliance is
used near children.
Do not reach into the appliance if the drum is moving.
Do not dry items that have been previously cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or spotted with gasoline, dry-cleaning
solvents, or other flammable or explosive substances, as they give off vapours that could ignite or explode.
Before the appliance is discarded, remove the door to the drying compartment.
Connect To An Individual Branch Circuit.
Do not install or store this appliance where it will be exposed to outdoor.
Do not tamper with controls.
Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance or attempt any servicing unless specifically recommended in the
user-maintenance instructions or in published user-repair instructions that you understand and have the skills to
carry out.
Do not use fabric softeners or products to eliminate static unless recommended by the manufacturer of the fabric
softener or product.
Do not use heat to dry articles containing foam rubber or similarly textured rubber-like materials.
Remove lint before and after each load.
Keep area around the exhaust opening and adjacent surrounding areas free from the accumulation of lint, dust, and
dirt. The interior of the appliance and exhaust duct should be cleaned periodically by qualified service personnel.
Do not place items exposed to cooking oils in your dryer. Items contaminated with cooking oils may contribute
to a chemical reaction that could cause a load to catch fire. To reduce the risk of fire due to contaminated loads,
the final part of a dryer cycle occurs without heat (cool down period). Avoid stopping a dryer before the end of the
drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated.

TIMER
Air Dry: This function runs with cool air, primarily to air items that require freshening i.e.: clothes that have been stored for
a long period of time.
Off: When the 'Drying Timer' dial is in the 'Off' position no power is supplied
to the unit. As soon as the dial is turned clockwise to the desired program
the dryer will start.
Hot: For drying large quantities or bulky items (drum is more than 1/2 full),
set the timer for more than 120 minutes.
Off: When the 'Drying Timer' dial is in the 'Off' position no power is supplied
to the unit. As soon as the dial is turned clockwise to the desired program
the dryer will start.
Cool: This function is generally used to cool the items that have just been
dried. This generates cool air and helps prevent creasing.
Anti-wrinkle: This is used for items that are difficult to iron i.e.: cotton
shirts and linen. Set the drying timer knob between 30-60 minutes
depending on the amount of items in the dryer. Once the timer stops
(including the Cool program) the items will contain some moisture, making
the ironing process easier.
Warm: This function will dry and cool items and in most cases leave items
wrinkle free (depending on material). Set the timer between 60-120 minutes.
AUTO
This mode is an extended low heat dry cycle or energy efficient mode which will tumble dry the
clothes in air dry mode to slowly dry and then activate the full heat at the end of the cycle. Use this
mode for items that do not require immediate use. Total cycle time is approximately 200 minutes.
When the selector button is up, the dryer works at automatic drying mode. Please set the timer to
200 minutes and it will start drying process till the moisture reaches setting degree. Then the dryer
will cut off the heating function inside and terminate the drying automatically. However the wrinkle
guard process will continue to work till the timer runs to “OFF” position.
Note: For heavy items like jeans, blankets, covers, towels, etc., the recommended mode is Timer.
TIMER
This mode is for high heat drying for immediate use. Select this mode for faster drying, select TIMER by pushing the
selector button inward and set the appropriate dry time. Keep in mind, timed dry is at HIGH HEAT for the duration of the
cycle until the time selected has elapsed.
When the selector button is pressed down, the dryer will work under timer controlled mode. Set the timer with the
following references:

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Sorting Fabrics
For the best drying results, clothes should be sorted properly. Separate the lint shedders (chenille and terry cloth) from the
lint collectors (synthetics, flannel and fabrics with a nap, such as velveteen and corduroy).
Separate non-colorfast from light colored items, heavy fabrics from light weight fabrics.
Do not tumble dry
Read all permanent care labels carefully. If a garment's care label says "Drip Dry", "Line Dry" or "Dry Flat", do not dry in the
dryer. Certain materials will melt or become dangerously flammable if heated, while others may lose their shape. Other
items that should not be tumble dried are:
Items that have been dry-cleaned at home.
Wool (unless the garment's manufacturer recommends it)
Fiberglass
Laminated or rubber coated items
Vinyl or plastic
Do not use fabric softeners or products to eliminate static unless recommended by manufacturer of the fabric softener or
product.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, read the IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS before
operating this appliance.
Drying Time
Drying time depends on many factors, such as the amount of washing items, how damp it is, the type of fabrics, and the
temperature of the room. It also, depends on how dry you want when you take them out of the machine.
Shrinkage
Knitted fabrics in particular are prone to shrink. Do not use the extra dry program for these materials, and always stretch
them out directly after drying.
Fabric Softeners
Because fabric softeners may cause damage to automatic dryers, use only those with a written assurance that their
softeners can safely be used in your dryer.
Single Item
Use the timed program when there is only one item to be dried. This is because the automatic program may turn off the
heating too early, so that the item is not properly dried.
Dry Properly
When using the automatic program, it happens that not all items are properly dried. This may be due to such reasons as
very heavy fabrics or thick seams. To dry these items, give a further 10 minutes or so in the timed program. Also do not
overload the dryer.
Do not over-dry
When using the timed program, it is possible to over-dry fabrics, if time has been set for too long. This can cause the
fabrics to wrinkle, shrink or feel harsh. Synthetic materials can also become charged with static electricity.
2. The filter assembly consists of three parts (See illustration).
a) Exhaust Vent Shroud b) Lint Filter c) Exhaust Filter
3. Separate each of the above parts and clean the individual piece using a
SOFT brush or vacuum cleaner.
NOTE: DO NOT damage the filters.
4. Reassemble the filter assembly in this order: Exhaust Filter - Lint Filter
- Exhaust Vent Shroud.
Align the entire assembly with the recessed position in the back of the
drum and press firmly until the entire assembly is secure.
Cleaning the Air Intake Filter
1. Remove the Air Intake Filter by pulling outward holding the filter housing
by the top and bottom.
2. Remove the filter inside the housing and clean with a SOFT brush or
vacuum cleaner.
3. Replace the filter housing by pushing upwards with your thumb until the
latch is secure.
WARNING: Unplug the power cord prior to any cleaning.
Cleaning the Exterior
• Wipe the dryer surfaces, including the control panel, with a soft cloth and non-abrasive household detergents.
• Use a soft cloth to dry the surfaces.
• Do not pour water on the dryer.
Cleaning the Filters
1. Remove the Lint Filters by pulling outward using the four grip holes in the filter assembly.
Timer knob will not rotate.
Dryer does not operate.
Drum does not rotate.
Laundry is not completely
dry.
Dryer overheats (with odor
or shuts off automatically).
The dryer is not plugged in.
The circuit breaker is tripped or fuse is blown.
The door is not closed.
Clean the Filter.
Reduce the amount of clothing loaded in the dryer.
Re-dry the loaded items.
Ensure items are not knotted or bulked together.
The dryer is not located in a well ventilated area.
Use timed dry mode by press the button down and turn the timer knob up to
200 min.
Open the door and take out all clothes. The dryer needs 30~40 min to cool
down. Before restarting the dryer, clean the filter and do not load clothes too
full in the drum.
