1 Power ON/OFF
To power on the device, slide the power switch to the left. To power off device, slide power
switch to the right.
2 Charging
To recharge device battery, please use standard micro USB cell phone charger. During
charging the “power plug” indicator appears on display.
3 Welcome screen
After device power on, welcome screen appears for 3 seconds. There is information about
Device address, Frequency band of tester and firmware version.

Available frequency bands:
EU – Europe setup for 868MHz (Europe, Russia, South Africa, Saudi Arabia)
AS – Asia setup for 923MHz (Indonesia, Singapore, Malaisia, Thailand, Vietnam)
IN – India setup for 865MHz (India only)
US – America setup for 902-928MHz (North and South America)
AU – Australia setup for 915-928MHz (Australia and New Zeland)
Frequency band and device address setting is done by device manufacturer and it is unable to
change it by user.
4 Menu navigation and device operation
Device menu has 3 main screens (LoRaWan, GPS and Sensor). To switch between these
screens use up/down buttons. OK button initiates instant data transfer.

After power on device starts to:
- Transfer data over LoRaWan in 60 second interval.
- Receiving GPS coordinates.
- Measuring actual temperature and humidity
Device enters sleep mode after 5 minutes without any button activity. In sleep mode device
continue to send data in 60 second interval, only display is off.
To initiate unscheduled data transfer, press OK button anytime.
After power on, it takes up to 5 minutes to get GPS coordinates.
Data packet periodically send to servers includes: Device address, GPS coordinates, battery
status and temperature.

When data are send to server successfully, server sends acknowledge message to tester. When
this acknowledge message is received, RSSI value in dB is displayed on LoRaWan screen.
RSSI = Receiver signal strength indicator. Value could change from -20dB (the best value,
you are very close to gateway) up to -136dB (the worst value, you are on the edge of gateway
coverage area).

Also time to next data transfer in seconds is displayed on LoRaWan screen.
