SATRI Headphone Amplier HPA-01M
Thank you very much for your purchase of the SATRI Headphone Amplifier HPA-01M.
It is of the utmost importance for Bakoon’s high-end audio products to reproduce
music as close and precise as the actual live performances. With decades of
experience and the SATRI Circuit under the belt, we are dedicated to achieve such
insatiable goal.

Inside the packaging box, you will find below contents;

● Owner’s Manual / Safety Instruction
The original packaging box carefully protects its contents.
Please do not throw away the box in case of possible shipments in the future.

OVERVIEW
GAIN SELECT SWITCH
The GAIN SELECT switch controls the overall gain level of the current output socket.
You may set it according to your desired level.
POWER SWITCH
The POWER SWITCH turns on or off the product. From the front view, turning it from left to right turns
on the HPA-01M.
* Remarks: It would take about 5 seconds to turn on the HPA-01M again when it is turned off.
GAIN KNOB
The GAIN KNOB controls the overall gain level. From the top view, turning it from left to right
increases the gain level, and vice versa.
* Remarks: The HPA-01M is zero negative feedback design that during its initial warm-up period,
it is possible to hear audible noise while controlling the gain. This is normal and absolutely fine for
the HPA-01M and its connected equipment. This audible noise will disappear shortly after.
LED DISPLAY
The LED DISPLAY turns on when the product is switched on. The red LED indicates low battery
capacity status. When the red LED turns on, it is recommended to recharge the battery. Within
10 minutes after the red LED is on, the HPA-01M shuts off automatically resulting from low battery.
CHARGER INPUT
The external battery recharger is connected to the HPA-01M via CHARGER INPUT.
Please use the supplied recharger only. The recharging process only starts when the HPA-01M’s
main power switch is turned off, and the recharging status is indicated by red color on the LED of the
recharger. The LED on the recharger turns red to green when the internal batteries are fully charged.

HEADPHONE OUTPUTS
The HPA-01M provides two different types of headphone driving methods. The HPA-01M‘s unique
feature lies within its current drive output socket where the connected headphone is driven by
current, rather than the conventional voltage driving method. Each output works simultaneously
but the current output’s gain level will be affected by the connected headphone’s impedance
in the voltage output socket.
SOURCE INPUT
There is a 3.5mm SOURCE INPUT jack to connect your source equipment. Connect your source, such
as a DAP or mobile phone, here using the supplied Cardas HPI cable, or any other 3.5 mm mini cable.

LISTENING
SPECIFICATION

After you have successfully installed all the necessary connections, you can turn on
the HPA-01M

Ensure every connection – source input and headphone output are properly connected.

Turn on the source equipment first. Make sure the gain knob is at its minimum position.

Turn on the main power switch located on the front panel and the LED should light up.

Slowly turn the gain knob from left to right to increase the gain level.

You should hear sound coming out from the headphones. Please set your desired gain level.

Bakoon Products International provides parts and labor free of charge for any manufacturing
defects during the first two years after purchase, and six months for consumables such as battery.
The warranty is not transferrable and is limited to the original purchaser in the country of purchase,
provided that the product was purchased from an authorized dealer. Please keep a copy of the
sales receipt to verify such conditions.
Bakoon Products International takes no responsibility for any defect from accident, modification,
misuse, abuse, wear and tear or neglect by the user, or any damage or loss resulted during any
transit or shipment for repair. Servicing from unauthorized servicing personnel or from the user would
also void the warranty. There are no user-serviceable parts inside and all servicing inquiries should
be submitted to authorized dealers only.
The product should be packed and returned in the original packing box to the original dealer of
purchase. All the transportation costs are responsible by the user, and it is important to fully insure
the package against any possible damage or loss during the shipment.
The warranty ends after two years from the original purchase date. After this period, the user is
responsible for both parts and labor costs. It does not cover the transportation and insurance
costs at any period.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
All products from Bakoon Products International are strictly designed and
manufactured to meet safety standards. However, it is important that owners should
read and follow below instructions very carefully to avoid any possible damages.
1. Instructions
Before anything else, you should carefully read and follow all the safety instructions.
It is also important for you to retain the instructions for future references.
2. Placement
Place the product on a rigid rack or shelf to support the weight of the product.
Failure to do so may result the product to fall, causing a serious injury.
3. Ventilation
The product needs proper ventilation to ensure reliable operation. Do not place the product
in an enclosed area such as bookcase or rack, or on a soft surface such as sofa or bed.
4. Heat
Do not use the product near flames or heat producing appliances such as radiators,
stoves or other amplifiers.
5. Water and Moisture
Do not use the product near water. For example, near a bath tub, kitchen sink, laundry tub
or flower vase. Do not put any kind of liquid into the product.
6. Cleaning
Disconnect the main plug before cleaning. Clean the product only with a dry, soft, lint-free
cloth or a vacuum cleaner. Do not use any liquid or chemical cleaners.
7. Power Sources
The product must be connected to the type of power source specified in the marking labels
found on the packaging box or on the product. Do not modify the supplied power cable in
any way. Do not overload wall outlets, receptacles or extension cords. Do not route the power
cable where it will be walked on, pinched, bent, exposed to heat or damaged.
8. Battery Recharge
The product must be charged with the supplied battery recharger. Please refer to the marking
label for its specification and use the supplied battery recharger.
9. Power Cable Protection
The product must be connected to the power outlet only with the supplied power cable or an
exact equivalent that meets safety standards. Do not modify the supplied power cable in any way.
Do not overload wall outlets, receptacles or extension cords.
10. Damage Requiring Service
The product should be serviced by qualified service personnel if:
● The power supply cable or plug has been damaged.
● Objects have fallen or liquid has spilled into the product.
● The product has been exposed to rain or water.
● The product does not operate normally or exhibits a clear change in performance.
● The product has been dropped or damaged in any way.
