Maxim Edger
ME4HWT
Operating Instructions:
• Push machine to the desired location.
• Remove any rocks or debris along the edging path.
• Make sure all shields are in place and that the blade points
rotate forward as shown in the picture at left.
• Position wheels of machine on sidewalk or other solid surface
or lawn.
• Crank the machine.
• Lower the blade into the ground using blade control lever to
your desired edging depth.
• When edging in a new area for the first time you will need to

a few edgings you will find your work quicker and smoother.
• Pull the edger slowly backwards around the drive, sidewalk,
or landscaping feature giving the edger time to make a
complete cut.
• Do not try to edge too quickly.
• Watch carefully for bystanders and pets.
•
WARNING:
• Never operate the edger without proper guards, shields or
other safety devices in place. Serious injury or death could
result.
Questions or Problems:
• Even though this edger is equipped with safety shields, it is
possible for debris to be thrown from the edger. Wear safety
glasses at all times and keep the edger area clear of
bystanders, especially small children and pets.
