During operation
Do not use the machine to sweep up burning or smoking debris, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes;
Do not use the machine where there is standing water;
If the machine is damaged or if it malfunctions, report the problem immediately;
Keep to a low speed on sloping or slippery surfaces;
Do not attempt to clean surfaces having a gradient steeper than that indicated on the machine;
Do not leave the machine unattended or parked on uneven surfaces;
Do not sweep up cables, strings, wires or other similar materials;
Make sure the work area is provided with adequate lighting;
Do not allow children to play on or near the machine;
Do not use the machine to carry persons or objects;
Wear a dust mask, protective eyewear and gloves in dust-laden environments.
Before leaving the machine and before carrying out any kind of maintenance work
Park the machine on a level surface;
Switch the machine off.
During maintenance operations
Keep hair, loose garments, fingers and all other parts of the body well clear of openings and moving parts;
Disconnect the battery and the battery charger before working on the machine;
Use spare parts supplied or approved by the manufacturer;
All repairs must be carried out by a TENNANT approved service technician.
Do not modify the original configuration of the machine in any way.
When transporting the machine
Switch the machine off;
Get help when lifting the machine;
Use a ramp when loading or unloading the machine onto or from a truck or trailer;
Use straps to secure the machine to the truck or trailer.
Battery
Do not use NON-rechargeable batteries
The battery is a sealed unit and guaranteed safe under normal conditions; in the unlikely event of fluid leaking
from the battery, do not touch the fluid and be sure to take the following precautions:
Contact with the skin can cause irritation; wash with soap and water.
Inhalation of vapours can cause irritation to the airways; stay out in the open air and consult a doctor.
Contact with the eyes can cause irritation; wash the eyes immediately, flooding with water for at least 15
minutes, and consult a doctor.
