Locate where you
want
to
mount the hold
down
and create the required
mounting holes. Mount the base
by
using
two
(2) short screws and the
two (2) washers, and two (2) nuts, included,
Attach the rubber bumpers to the bottom
of
the battery, one (1) in each
corner. (This step
is
optional). (See illustration 1
for
bumper locations).
Center the battery on the Hold Down base and attach the two (2) ears
with four (4)
or
the
short screws include. Tighten the screws until the
ears hold the battery firmly in place.
DO
NOT
OVER TIGHTEN
OR
DAMAGE TO YOUR BATTERY MAY OCCUR.
