A. GENERAL INFORMATION
This manual provides you with the information for proper use and maintenance of the
TAR High Pressure Washer. Please carefully follow the instructions provided. The
manufacturer / supplier is not liable for any damage to people or goods, or to the
system itself, if the equipment is used differently from as described in this manual.
This manual is provided to the user / technician for correct use of the TAR High
Pressure Washer. Information provided in this manual does not replace regulations on
safety at work currently in force. Therefore, the user should comply with the regulations
in the country where the cleaner is installed, as well as following common sense rules.
Do not use the product if you notice any defect or wear that may compromise the
original safety standards. The user or the maintenance technician must report any fault
to the supplier. The machine is meant for specific applications. Do not modify and /or
use it for applications other than the specified ones.

3. Function
Load Break Switch (220V/380V) is provided, able to control motors of 3HP
single/three phase, 5HP single/three phase and 7.5HP single/three phase.
Under automatic model, microcomputer could receive the signals of flow rate and
pressure and control pump starting up and shutdown.
When the pump runs idle, the sensor system would initiate the protective mechanism
for motors.
When red indicating light is on, it means the cleaner is energized normally. When it
blinks on the other hand, it means the pump runs idle (suck in air without water) and
the automatic mode is locked in order to prevent running abnormally.
When yellow indicating light is on, it means the cleaner has run for 300 hours and it
is needed to change oil.

When both of red and yellow indicating lights blink it means water leakage has
occurred for 3~4 times and the automatic mode would be locked and stop spraying
water. If you want to keep using automatic mode, turn the knob switch to “OFF” or
“MANUAL MODE.

C. PREPARATION BEFORE OPERATION
1. Before installation please read this manual and follow all safety rules and operating
instructions.
2. Accessories assembly:
This machine has been assembled almost completely, users only have to assemble
some accessories.
The standard accessories we provide include: pressure gauge, high pressure hose,
high pressure gun, adjustable nozzle, water inlet filter and water inlet hose.
Please follow the steps below to assemble the accessories:
a. Please use Open-end wrench to tighten adjustable nozzle onto water outlet end
of the spray gun.
b. Connect two ends of high pressure hose quick-fit coupling to water outlet fitting
of high pressure pump and the water inlet fitting of spray gun.
c. Please use open-end wrench to tighten filter onto water inlet end of pump.
Check filter sieve has been installed properly before connecting hose with the
coupling of filter.
3. Connected to water supply:
It is recommended to use 3/4 inch or the high pressure hose with minimum section
diameter of 14 mm. The inlet water amount should not be less than two times amount
of suction water and the supply of inlet water pressure should be less than 8 bar.
Inlet water temperature should not be higher than 55 oC and the used water should
be filtered in order to extend the service life.
The water supply should not contain salt or high carbonate compound.
The maximum self-absorption depth of this cleaner is 1.5m in case of water inlet by
self-suction. It is not allowed to exceed this depth.
4. Connected to power supply:
Power supply wiring should be done by professional technician. If the cable gets
damaged, do not use it. When the cable needs to be replaced, send this unit to
professionals for repair.
The power supply linked to this machine should accord with the standard of CEI364,
including the requisites of earth wire, fuse and residual current circuit breaker with
the sensitivity less than 30mA.
The voltage difference of the power supply should not exceed ±5% of the rated
voltage.
Please ensure that power cable should not be longer than 10m with the minimum
section of 3.5mm2. If you need longer cable, please contact the specialized
Technician. NOTE: DO NOT USE EXTENSION CORD WITHOUT PERMISSION.
D. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using this product, please read this manual and follow all safety rules and operating
instructions. Failure to comply with instructions could result in personal injury and/or property
damage.
The manufacturer is not able to predict all possible dangers caused by this product during
operating, checking and maintaining. Thus, not all possible dangers are listed in this manual.
Any condition not shown in this manual is still needed to be careful watch during operating,
checking and maintaining. Please contact your supplier for any further information.
The manual is considered as part of the machine and must be kept in a safe place for future
reference, enabling quick consultation.
1. If any malfunctions happen, stop using this machine immediately.
2. Do not use this machine under rain or thunder. There will be the risk of fire or electrical
shock.
3. Be sure the electrical plug is removed from the electrical socket before attempting any
cleaning or maintenance. Fail to do so may cause electric shock.
4. If any important part gets damaged, stop using this machine immediately.
5. The cleaner or electrified circuit, including every installation, cable and electric socket
should not be spilled with water. Keep the plug and wire dry and clean and do not touch
it with wet hands. Carefully remove the plug from the electric socket and do not pull the
wire emphatically.
6. Be sure this machine is on a stable, flat surface and the brake of the wheel must be
turned on when in operation. Set the machine with good ventilation when in operation.
7. Children or non-staff are prohibited to operate this cleaner.
8. Do not trample, pull wires or high pressure hose or place objects upon them.
9. All parts are designed for high pressure. If any part gets damaged, please replace it with
the parts from original manufacturer.
1. Ensure enough oil is filled into the pump before operation.
2. Comply with the specified voltage, current, frequency and phase labeled on the
specification plate.
3. Please run this cleaner with the pressure lower than the maximum pressure of the
specification. Do not exceed the limit.
4. In order to maintain the parts life and the safety, it is prohibited to run this cleaner without
water.
5. It is prohibited to open the case, touch motor or internal parts when the cleaner runs in
order to avoid possible dangers.
6. Check whether the wire and connector gets loose or damaged before operate this
cleaner. Only every part is normal could you start up this cleaner.
7. When the cleaner stops running, please remove the plug and put the wire away. Do not
plugged it in for long time.
8. The outer case of this cleaner is moisture-proof and dust-proof. When the cleaner is
running, make sure that the case is installed properly. Otherwise, it is possibly to cause
some damage to this cleaner.
When using sprayer gun, please hold tight the gun because of strong recoil. Do not spray
at people, animals, electric instrument on using of this machine. When you do not use it,
please turn off the safety switch on the gun.
If the temperature is possible to drop to less than 0 oC in winter, the remaining water in
the pump cylinder is likely to freeze. Do not use this cleaner at this time (If you want to
use it, please add antifreeze agent).
Do not leave the high pressure cleaner in by-pass for more than 3 minutes.
Before you run this cleaner, please check if the oil goes bad and if all inlet pipes, outlet
pipe and the connectors in the loop are fixed (locked) tightly.
When the pump is running, please keep the water outlet pipe unobstructed in order to
prevent blasting pressure.
For safety sake, please install safety relief valve on the water outlet end of the pump to
prevent pipe system from getting damage due to blasting pressure.
E. OPERATION INSTRUCTION
1. Electronic Control Function ( Electronic Control of this cleaner possesses Manual Mode
and Automatic Mode)
Manual Mode Under this mode, it will force the motor not to stop running, unless
the users stop the cleaner by themselves or start the machine by overload switch.
( It is recommended to let out the air in the pump by manual mode when it is used
the first time and then change to automatic mode. )
Automatic mode
a. When the power is on and the motor keeps running for 15 sec and there is still
no water out, this cleaner will enter standby mode automatically and would
automatically start motor on triggering the gun next time. ( Standard time for
deciding automatic stopping machine is 8 seconds )
b. To avoid pump idling, this cleaner is designed with protective mechanism.
When the air is sucked for 15 sec and no water is out, this cleaner will stop and
blink with red light. If you want to continue to apply automatic mode, please
change to manual mode and undergo troubleshooting procedure before you
turn to automatic mode.
c. This cleaner is installed with circuit breaker of overload switch.
d. When the yellow light of the indicator for 300 hours blinks, which only provides
the information of changing oil. The automatic mode would command the
cleaner not to work unless you switch to manual mode. After finishing the
maintenance procedure, press “Reset button” for 3 sec in order to initiate the
automatic mode. ( If not take maintenance for sufficient hours, it would not reset
because of the mistaken press by the user. )
e. When both yellow and red light blink at the same time, it means abnormal water
leakage occurs for 3-4 times and thus the system would lock the Auto Mode
and stop spraying water. If you want to continue to use Auto Mode, please turn
the switch to “Stop” or ”Manual Mode” in order to turn back to Automatic Mode
for normal water outlet.
(This mechanism informs users the occurrence of abnormal leakage, so
undergo troubleshooting in order to protect the motors.)
2. Using nozzles
This cleaner is provided with adjustable nozzles, and the users adjust the form of
water spraying into bundle-shaped water column and fan-shaped water column.
The manufacturer choose the best specification of the nozzle according to the
variation of pressure and flow rate:

Nozzle Cleaning: In order to avoid precipitation of foreign matter or calcium
carbonate, which cause blockage and affect cleaning function, we suggest the users
unblock the nozzle with needle-shaped matter (e.g. Paper Clip).
3. Intermittent Use
If the gun has the function of low-pressure operation (no more than 20 bar, be used
along with detergent), the cleaner will standby at the state of bypass pressure relief
after release the gun trigger. If you withhold the gun trigger again, the pump will
return to normal operation state.
Do not operate this cleaner for more than 3 min at the state of bypass pressure relief.
4. Shutdown and Store the Cleaner
If you want to store the cleaner, please remove the inlet hose from water supply.
Start this cleaner and run for several seconds when the spray gun opens, until the
remaining water come out the high pressure pump.
After finish the above procedures, please turn the switch to “OFF state” and break
the power supply. Remove the wire from the power and roll up carefully, avoiding to
bend it.
Remove the high pressure hose from the cleaner and roll up carefully, avoiding to
bend it. Remove the spray gun and store it appropriately.
After the motor cools down to room temperature, clean the water logging on the
surface of this machine and put it in order. Then, store this cleaner with power cable,
high pressure gun and high/low pressure hose in the dried and clean space.
When the cleaner is standing for cooling down, make sure that no children, elders
or disabled touch.
When the cleaner is standing for cooling down, make sure that this place is stable
and will not let this cleaner slide and move.
When the cleaner is standing for cooling down, make sure that there is nothing
inflammable around this place.
F. TROUBLE SHOOTING
The troubleshooting provided on this section mainly acts as the guidelines for solving possible
malfunction problems.
Some of remedies methods need to be done by trained person and some of them should be
done by professional technicians of TANONG or the dealers in your district.

G. MAINTENANCE
Please turn off the switch and remove the cable from power supply prior to cleaning and
maintenance of this cleaner.
All of the parts of this cleaner are resistant to high pressure, so users should use the
genuine parts from original manufacturer and should not transform it without permission.
The selection of high pressure hose, quick coupling and nozzle is likely to have
significant impact on operational safety. Please choose appropriate instrument based on
our recommendation.

G. WARRANTY
These TAR High Pressure Washers are warranted for one full year from date of
shipment to the purchaser to be free from any defect in materials and workmanship.
This warranty does not cover damages from abuse, failure to properly install, operate
or maintain the product in accordance with the printed materials provided.
Listed below is void of the warranty
Any modifications or intervention which are not authorized by the manufacturer.
Use contrary to specific normative in force.
Use of cleaner different from those indicated in this manual and/or lack of regular
maintenance.
Result from the malfunction or improper use of customer due to force majeure
caused by the incident.
Any parts or labor to repair or adjust any system that the customer has installed
themselves or by a third party other than an authorized installer.
Use of non-original or not specified parts for the cleaner.
The damages caused by natural disasters, faulty usages or consumable purposes.
Manufacturer shall not be liable for any further loss, damages or expenses, including
incidental or consequential damages, directly or indirectly arising from the sale or
use of this product.
This warranty does not cover repair or replacement of any item that should be
replaced or maintained under normal operating and maintenance practices within
the stated warranty period of one year.
