Externer Lüfter für SIM4000

Montageanleitung

1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Der externe Lüfter Nr. 2089755 ist ein Zubehör für den SIM4000.

Der externe Lüfter ist zur Erhöhung der maximalen Betriebsumge-

bungstemperatur des SIM4000 von +50°C auf +60°C bestimmt.

Darüber hinaus sind die nachfolgenden Hinweise und technischen

Daten einzuhalten bzw. zu beachten.

Fehlanwendung

Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht

bestimmungsgemäß. Für hieraus resultierende Personen- und

Sachschäden haftet die SICK AG nicht.

Diese Montageanleitung beschreibt die Montage des externen

Lüfters. - Für alle Arbeiten mit dem SIM4000 siehe

2 Montage

■ Montagevoraussetzungen für SIM4000 beachten - Betriebsan-

leitung SIM4000.

■ SIM4000 muss bei Verwendung des Lüfters in vertikaler Positi-

on angebracht werden.

■ Mindestabstand von externem Lüfter zur Wand von 10 cm

einhalten.

1. Mitgelieferte Klemmstücke mit den Muttern bündig im Schiebe-

kanal positionieren (siehe Abbildung).

2. Externen Lüfter mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben am SIM4000

montieren, max. Drehmoment 50 Ncm.

3. Externen Lüfter an den SENSOR-Anschluss S4 der SIM4000

anschließen.

1 Intended use

The external fan no. 2089755 is an accessory for the SIM4000.

The external fan is intended for increasing the maximum ambient

operating temperature of the SIM4000 from +50°C to +60°C.

The notes and technical data below must also be adhered to and

observed.

Misuse

Dierent or additional use is considered to be improper use.

SICK AG shall not be held liable for personal injury and damage to

property resulting from this.

2 Mounting

■ Observe the mounting requirements for SIM4000 specied in

the - SIM4000 operating instructions.

■ SIM4000 must be attached in a vertical position when using the

fan.

■ Observe a minimum distance of 10 cm between the external fan

and the wall.

1. Position the supplied clampbricks ush in the sliding channel

with the nuts (see gure).

2. Mount the external fan to the SIM4000 with the screws sup-

plied, max. torque 50 Ncm.

3. Connect the external fan to the S4 sensor connection of the

SIM4000.

3 Inbetriebnahme

1. Externen Lüfter über SOPAS ET aktivieren:

• An SIM4000 (SIM) Projekt anmelden

■ Benutzerlevel: Service

■ Passwort: servicelevel

• Innerhalb des SIM4000-Baumes Ordner „Network/Interfa-

ce/IOs“auswählen

• Im Auswahlfeld „External Fan Control“ den externen Lüfter

aktivieren:

3 Commissioning

1. Activate the external fan using SOPAS ET:

• Log in to SIM4000 (SIM) project:

■ User level: Service

■ Password: servicelevel

• Select the folder “Network/Interface/IOs” from within the

SIM4000 directory tree

• Activate the external fan in the “External Fan Control” selec-

tion eld:

• In der Menüleiste mit

• Hinweis: Die Steuerung des Lüfters erfolgt temperaturab-

hängig, d. h. er wird nur bei kritischer Temperatur der CPU

aktiviert.

• Hinweis: Der über SOPAS ET gesetzte Power-Status von S4

ist geschützt und kann nicht per Software durch eine Sen-

sor-App überschrieben werden.
