II -- Quick Install
Quick Set up
Set up is simple and can be done both wirelessly and hard wired. For wireless setup
ensure your device has a compatible wireless adapter. Only use the power adapter
that was included with your router.
Plug router in and wait a few moments while it powers up.
Wireless Setup
o Connect your broadband internet via Ethernet cable to the WAN port on the
back of your Atlas Media router.
o Locate the newly added wireless network SSID (Atlas_xxxxx) on your PC or
device. The SSID will always default to Atlas_xxxxx, where xxxxx are the last
5 digits of your MAC address located on the bottom of the router. Connect
using default wireless password brokenbell1776.
o After you connect we recommend you log into the f irmware and change both the
default SSID and password.
Wired Setup
o For a wired connection, connect your computer Ethernet port to the routers
LAN port.
o Next connect your broadband internet via Ethernet cable to the WAN port on
the back of your Atlas Media router.
Unless you are using a DSL modem, your Atlas Media router will be automatically
set to use Dynamic (DHCP) connection through the WAN port. As long as
everything is connected properly you should have internet immediately.
