INTRODUCTION:
Congratulations on your purchase of the IMPECCA 8” Digital Photo Frame.
Before using your Digital Photo Frame, please read through this manual. The manual will
help you use many of the exciting and useful features of the IMPECCA 8” Digital Photo
Frame.
This Digital Photo Frame lets you view digital pictures directly from your camera’s mem-
ory card. No computer or internet connection is required. The IMPECCA 8” Digital Photo
Frame is compatible with the following popular memory cards: SD/SDHC.
WARNING
PLEASE READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATING AND RESERVE IT FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE. IT WILL BE HELPFUL TO YOU IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY OPERATING PROBLEM.
Avoid exposing this device to water, moisture or high humidity. Do not place it
near swimming pool, bathtub or sink where it may come in contact with water.
Clean only with a dry so cloth; do not use any chemical liquid for cleaning.
To ensure reliable operation of the device and to protect it from overheating, do
not block any ventilation openings.
Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
Do not step on the power cable, plug or adapter to avoid electronic shock.
Do not attempt to service this device yourself. There are no user serviceable parts
inside. Opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltages or oth-
er hazards. Refer all servicing and repairs to qualified service personnel.
Please unplug this device during thunderstorms or when not in use for a long time.
Do not press hard on the LCD screen in the process of transportation or usage.
Avoid sharp objects.

USING YOUR DIGITAL PHOTO FRAME
Unit turns on automatically aer a few seconds when plugged in. Slideshow starts aer
about an additional seven seconds.
TURN UNIT ON / OFF
a. Hold [HOME ] to turn o the device;
b. Hold [HOME ] to turn back on.
RETURNING TO MAIN MENU
a. Press [HOME ] or [] during a slideshow to return to Main Menu; While in the Main
Menu, pressing [HOME ] will enter the clock mode. When in clock mode, pressing []
or [HOME ] again will return to the main menu.
MAIN MENU ICONS
a. [Two hearts] Shows the sample pictures that come with the unit. These can be played
as a slide-show as well.
b. [Landscape] Shows pictures on the SD/SDHC card if one is inserted into the rear of the
unit.
c. [Calendar] Shows the time in digital format and a monthly calendar. (Can show a black
background or photo slideshow.)
d. [Gear] Enter the settings sub-menu
e. [Information icon] Shows the product splash screen.

SETTINGS MENU
Here is where you can change the configuration of photos, clock, calendar and some
common functions (General).
[Clock Icon] Clock & Calendar submenu
Using the [ ] buttons, select the [CLOCK] icon. Press the [ ] button.
1. Mode: 24-hour or 12-hour (for AM/PM). Use [ ] to select. Use the [ ] buttons to select
another sub-menu option.
2. Time: Use [ ] to switch between hours and minutes and the [ ] to adjust. Press [ ]
button when done.
3. Calibration: Use[ ]to oset any daily time loss, in seconds and fractions thereof. Use
the [ ] buttons to select another sub-menu option.
4. Date: Use [ ] to switch between month, day and year and the [ ] to adjust. Use the
[ ] buttons to select another sub-menu option.
5. Date Format: Use [ ] to choose among mm-dd-yyyy, dd-mm-yyyy and yyyy-mm-dd
formats, where “mm” represents the two digit month, “dd” represents the two digit day
of the month and “yyyy” represents the four digit year. Use the [ ] buttons to select
another sub-menu option.
6. Week Start: Use the [ ] button to cycle through the days of the week with which to
begin the calendar. Use the [ ] to move to another menu option.
7. Background: Use the [ ] button to cycle between Photo (slideshow) and Black back-
ground. This is what will display when you are in calendar display mode. Use the [ ]
buttons to select another sub-menu option.
Press the [] button to return to the submenu choices
Timer:
Using the [ ] buttons, select the [HOURGLASS] icon. Press the [ ] button.
1. Timer: On/O. Press [ ]to cycle between On and O. “On” means that the timer set-
tings below are active. “O” means that that the timer settings below are not active.
2. Power On: Press [ ] buttons to cycle between hours and minutes and [ ] buttons to
change the values. Press [ ] when done.

3. Power O: Press [ ] buttons to cycle between hours and minutes and [ ] buttons to
change the values. Press [ ] when done.
4. Repeat: Press the [ ] buttons to cycle between dierent sets of days for the timer func-
tion to operate. [Everyday, Mon. to Fri., Mon to Sat. and just Once.]
Press the [] button to return to the submenu choices
c. General:
Using the [ ] buttons, select the [GEAR] icon. Press the [ ] button.
1. Language: Press [ ] to choose the appropriate language. Use the [ ] buttons to se-
lect another sub-menu option.
2. Theme color: Press [ ] to cycle through seven menu settings color options. Use the
[ ] buttons to select another sub-menu option.
3. Auto brightness: On/O, press [ ] to cycle option. When on, this setting uses the sen-
sor on the front of the unit to detect ambient light and make the screen brighter in bright
rooms and dimmer in dim rooms. Use the [ ] buttons to select another sub-menu op-
tion.
4. Night mode: On/O, press [ ] to cycle option. When on, this setting detects very low
ambient light, at which point the screen dims, the slide-show turns o and is replaced
with a low-brightness clock. This is ideal if the unit will be placed near a bedside or in a
room where one just wants a clock when the lights are o. Use the [ ] buttons to select
another sub-menu option.
5. Factory default: To restore the unit to the original factory settings, press either the [or
the ] button twice and then the [ ] to confirm. Use the [ ] buttons to select another
sub-menu option.
6. Product info: press [ ] to check product information, which contains the current
Soware Version, Hardware Version and the Version Date. This may be important for trou-
bleshooting purposes. Use the [ ] buttons to select another sub-menu option.
Press the [] button to return to the submenu choices.

SLIDESHOW
• Ensure that you have an SD/SDHC memory card with JPG/JPEG format photographs
(not included). Insert into the rear of the unit, with label side down.
• If unit is powered o when the SD/SDHC card is inserted, then the slideshow will begin
showing pictures from this card approximately 10 seconds aer power is turned on, or
unit is plugged in. If the built-in picture slideshow is running, press [HOME ] or [] to
return to Main Menu; Then select the[LANDSCAPE] icon to begin the slideshow.
a. Press [ ] buttons to select the previous or next picture.
b. Press [ ] buttons to change the brightness.
c. Press the [] button to return to see a thumbnail view of all the photos on the SD/
SDHC card.
1. Within the thumbnail view:
2. Use the [ ] and [ ] buttons to navigate. Pressing [ ] brings up a sub-menu that
allows you to select “Play” “Copy” or “Delete”.
i. Selecting “Play” will play the slideshow starting with the picture that is currently select-
ed
ii. Selecting “Copy” will copy the photo to the internal memory. Note that this function
will only work if the photo is less than 300Kb, which usually applies to small pictures and
drawings but not photos taken with modern digital cameras. As well, the internal memory
is considerably smaller than the memory on the SD/SDHC card, so if you have more than
a few small photos, you will want to use the SD/SDHC card for playback
iii. Selecting “Delete” allows you to delete a photo.
d. Slideshow Options Menu and pausing
Press [ ] to pause the slideshow. Then press the [ or ] buttons to highlight “Enter Menu.
i. Calendar and clock: On/O, Press [ ] buttons to cycle between On and O. Use [ ]
buttons to select another menu option.
ii. Play Sequence: Random/Order. Press [ ] buttons to cycle between Random and Or-
der. Use [ ] buttons to select another menu option. This will modify in what order pic-
tures are displayed o of your media card.

iii. Transition eects: Random, Cross, Mid speed, le to right, etc. Press [ ] buttons to cy-
cle through the dierent slideshow transitions eects. You can also choose “None.” Order.
Use [ ] buttons to select another menu option.
iv. Interval: Press [ ] buttons to cycle through transition intervals of 20s(econds), 1M(in-
ute), 30M(inutes), 1H(our) and 1Day. This is the length of time for each picture to be dis-
played before moving on to the next during a slideshow. Use [ ] buttons to select an-
other menu option.
v. Scale: Press [ ] buttons to switch between “Original” and “Auto.” When in “Original”
mode, your pictures will be displayed in the original, correct aspect ratio. Many pictures
may show black borders. When in “Auto” mode, the picture is adjusted to fill the screen.
Use [ ] buttons to select another menu option.
vi. Rotate: Press [ ] buttons to cycle through picture rotation options of 0° / 90° / 180°
/ 270°. Note that this is only for the current picture, and is not permanently saved. . Use
[ ] buttons to select another menu option.
vii. Zoom: Press [ ] buttons to cycle through picture zooming options of 1x through 5x.

buttons to select another menu option.
e. Calendar Function. This option shows a large clock and calendar in the middle of the
screen with a black or photo slideshow background (depending on the setup chosen in
the “Clock and Calendar” setup explained above.
From the main menu, choose the [Calendar] icon.
1. Press [ ] buttons to select the previous or next month. Press and hold [ ]buttons to
change the year.
2. Press [ ] buttons to change the brightness.
3. Press the [ ] as a shortcut to “Clock and Calendar” submenu of the Settings menu
mentioned above.
NOTE TO SABBATH OBSERVANT CUSTOMERS:
When night mode is enabled, a significant change in ambient light can cause the screen
to switch from slideshow mode to clock mode. If using on the Sabbath you may want to
ensure that it stays always in a well-lit room or that night mode is turned o. (See Settings
menu, General submenu.)

TROUBLESHOOTING
DEVICE WILL NOT POWER ON.
Ensure that the unit is connected to the supplied AC/DC power adapter.
SCREEN ON UNIT IS FROZEN AND BUTTONS ARE UNRESPONSIVE.
Unplug the device and plug it in again.
SOME PICTURES DO NOT PLAY BACK OR SHOW A .
Pictures may be too large or not in JPG/JPEG format, or your file may be larger than 8GB.
FAILED TO READ ANY PICTURES FROM THE SD CARD
1. Check that card is inserted well, with label face down. It should fit in slightly more
than half its length.
2. Ensure that card is 32GB or smaller.
RETURNS TO MAIN MENU WHILE PLAYING
May be the result of impact to unit. Unit has a self-protection function which can be acti-
vated aer violent impact.
CLOCK RESETS AFTER UNIT IS UNPLUGGED OR THERE IS A POWER FAILURE.
Ensure that a working CR2032 battery is inserted correctly into the rear of the unit.
