The ENMN4019 V isor-Mounted
M icrophone fac ilitates hands free
m icrophone use with the Mobile
P rofessional Radio. Hardware to
install the microphone is r equired
(or der kit HLN9457). W hen the
V isor-Mounted m i crophone is installed
and connected to the mobile radio, the
radio’s microphone is disabled via
CP S program ming.
ThreePushToTalk(PTT)devicesare
available for use with the ENM N4019
V isor-Mounted Microphone:
• footswitch RLN4856
• pus hbutt on RLN4857
• goos eneck RLN4858
The PTT devices are available
s eparat ely and include installation
instructions.

Connectin g to the Mobile Radio
The visor-m ount ed m i crophone cable
c onnect s t o a 16-pin connector block
(part of kit HLN9457): white wir e
c onnect s t o pin 2, ground wire
c onnects t o pin 7 (Figure 1). The
c onnect or block plugs into the centre
of the 20-pin accessory connect or
(four outsi de pins do n o t connect) on
the back of the mobile radio.
