4. How to Operate
1 Disconnect the charger from the unit. Turn the Hand Vac using the on/off button located on the
handle. Pick up any dirt and then turn the Hand Vac off using the on/off button once all of the dirt
has been picked up.
2 The attachments can be used by sliding into the Hand Vac nozzle until secure.
Crevice Tool: For cracks, corners, crevices etc.
Brush Tool: For delicate surfaces.
1 Press the dirt container release button on the top of the Hand Vac and remove the dirt container
(Fig.5/1).
2 Pull out the filter (Fig.5/2).
3 Empty the contents from the dirt container in to a rubbish bin.
4 The dirt container can be cleaned in lukewarm (max 40
o
C) water. Allow the dirt container to fully
air dry for 24 hours before replacing back on to the Hand Vac.
NOTE: The filter is NOT washable and can be cleaned by tapping or flicking the filter to remove
debris from the filter.
The Hand Vac is designed to sit in the charging base on a flat surface or mounted vertically on a wall.
For mounting on the wall:
1 Mark two screw hole centres vertically 80mm apart. Checking that there is room to fit the Hand Vac
and charging base near a mains socket outlet.
IMPORTANT: When drilling, ensure that you are clear of any hidden cabling or pipework.
2 Drill a 18mm hole through the centre of each mark.
3 Push the plastic wall plugs (supplied) into the drilled holes.
4 Tighten the screws into the wall plugs, leaving 3mm between the screw head and the wall surface.
5 Slide the charging base onto the screws. Adjust the screw clearance as needed to ensure a tight fit.
NOTE: Keep the charger plugged into a mains socket at all times. It is normal for the charger to become
warm to the touch when charging. If the operating time gets shorter after repeated use, let the unit run
until its charge is exhausted, then recharge for 24 hours. Repeat this monthly for best results.
