please read these operating instruc-
tions carefully. Above all please
observe the safety instructions on the
first few pages of these operating
instructions! Please keep these operat-
ing instructions for later reference. Pass
them on to any subsequent owner of
the appliance.

1 Safety Instructions
The safety features of AEG electrical
appliances comply with accepted tech-
nical standards and the German Appli-
ance Safety Law. Nevertheless, as a
manufacturer we consider it our obli-
gation to make you aware of the fol-
lowing safety information.
General Safety
The appliance may only be connected
to a power supply whose voltage and
frequency comply with the specifica-
tions on the rating plate!
Never use the lemon squeezer if the
flex or the housing is damaged.
Repairs to this appliance are only to be
performed by qualified service engi-
neers. Improper repairs can give rise to
significant hazards for the user. If your
appliance needs repairing, please con-
tact AEG customer service or your
dealer.
Child Safety
Never leave the appliance unsupervised
and take particular care with children!
You should take note of the fol-
lowing when using the lemon
squeezer
Never use the lemon squeezer with wet
hands.
Never pull the mains plug out of the
socket by the mains cable.
Never use the appliance outside.
Never use the lemon squeezer if the
mains cable is defective. From time to
time check the mains cable for dam-
age. If damage is visible, the mains
cable must be replaced immediately.
Never use the lemon squeezer if it has
fallen on the floor or is visibly dam-
aged. In this case send the lemon
squeezer to AEG or an authorised
dealer for repair.
Plastic parts must not be placed on or
close to radiators.
The appliance must be unplugged from
the mains prior to all cleaning and
care.
Never clean the motor unit under run-
ning water or in washing up water.
Ensure that the mains cable does hang
down, particularly when the appliance
is use. There a risk that the appliance
may be knocked over.
The manufacturer is not liable for any
damage caused by incorrect use or
operation.
Installation, connection and
initial use
0 Place the lemon squeezer on a flat, dry
surface.
0 For hygienic reasons you should wash
the juice container, the sieve and the
pressing cone under running warm
water before you use your new lemon
squeezer.

When you have finished using the
appliance or leave the room, unplug
the appliance from the mains.
Operating Instructions
0 Plug in the appliance and remove the
lid (1).
0 Halve the selected lemons and press
onto the pressing cone (2).
0 The pressing cone starts automatically
when pressed. The pressing cone
rotates clockwise or anticlockwise. The
juice is extracted and flows through
the sieve (3) into the juice container
(5).
0 To improve the juice yield, two wings
are fitted to the cone, these extract
further juice from the pulp.
0 As soon as you remove the pressed
lemon from the pressing cone, the
appliance stops automatically.
0 When you have extracted the required
amount of juice you can remove the
cone and the sieve by lifting them off.
You can now remove the juice con-
tainer from the motor unit by turning
it anticlockwise.
0 You can either immediately decant the
juice into another container, serve it in
the juice container, or place the juice,
in the juice container with the lid fit-
ted, in the fridge for refrigeration and
brief storage.
Cleaning and Care
Always unplug the lemon squeezer
from the mains before cleaning.
Please note that water must not
penetrate the motor unit!
Never clean the motor unit under
running water or in washing up
water, only wipe it with a damp
cloth.
Clean the juice container, sieve,
pressing cone, and lid under running
water or in washing up water.
2 Disposal
Disposing of the Packaging Material!
Do not simply throw packaging mate-
rial away. Please take note of the fol-
lowing information.
Cardboard packaging material can be
placed in the waste paper collection.
Deposit plastic bags made from poly-
ethylene (PE) at PE collection points
for recycling. Padding material made
from foam polystyrene (PS) is CFC-free
and can be deposited at appropriate
collection points (recycling centre).
Please inquire with your local authority
about your local recycling centre.
Disposing of your old appliance!
When you eventually stop using your
appliance please take it to the nearest
recycling centre or to your dealer who
will take it back for a small fee.
