PowerTrak™ Limit
Switch Installation
Tools Required
• 11/32" Socket
• 7/16" Socket
• 7/16" Wrench
• 1/8" Allen Wrench
• Torque Wrench
Directions
1. Open and remove the side swinging door.
2. Disconnect both quick connects at the bottom of the machine. The large connector is for the limit
switches and the small connector is for the motor.
3. Remove the four bolts that hold the bottom plate in place.
4. Slide out the bottom assembly.
5. Remove the four bolts holding the limit switch assembly to the cabinet.
6. Loosen the set screw holding the limit switch cam in place.
7. Slide out the limit switch assembly.
NOTE: When removing the limit switch assembly, notice the alignment of the switches. The new
assembly need to be installed for the same arrangement as the old.

Disconnect and lock out/tag out all the electrical power supply to the system before
installing replacement parts or before performing any service or maintenance.

8. Remove the cam from the old limit switch assembly and insert the cam between the limit switches
of the new assembly as shown in Figure 2.
9. Replace the 1/4" x 1/2" set screw with the new 1/4" x 3/4" set screw. Do not fully tighten the set
screw.
10. Slide the new limit switch assembly onto the control rod.
11. Secure the limit switch assembly using the bolts that are removed in Step 5 on Page 1.
12. Align the limit switch cam between the two sets of limit switches by sliding it until both the top
and bottom edges can be seen in the two small holes in the cover, then tighten the set screw to
80 in. lbs. (See Figure 2.)

13. Slide the bottom assembly back into the machine.
14. Install the four bolts that are removed in Step 3 on Page 1 back into the same holes.
15. Re-connect both quick connects at the bottom of the machine. The large connector is for the limit
switches and the small connector is for the motor.
16. Re-install the side swinging door.
17. Connect the power to the PowerTrak™.
18. Fully open and then close the curtains, vents or doors connected to the PowerTrak™. Check that
the motor turns in the right direction and the limit switches are functioning properly.
