Narcissus Daffodils
Daffodils are easy to grow in well- drained soil in full sun to
partial shade and are well known to be deer resistant. These
daffodils have a long bloom time and are stunning in any
landscape when planted in large clusters.
Bloom Time: Mid-Spring
USDA Hardiness Zone: 2-10
Habit & Height
Trumpet Daffodils are known for their traditional daffodil
shape; a large flower on one stem with an exceptionally long
large trumpet. Height: 14-16”
Planting Tips
Trumpet Daffodils are identified as having a center trumpet
that is larger than its outside pedals. Like all narcissus, they can
be left in the ground after blooming to multiply over the years.
If you wish to subdivide bulbs after 2 or 3 years of blooming
harvest them immediately after the foliage has died down.
Divide and store in a well ventilated, cool, dry place: then
replant in the fall. Plant top of bulb 6” below soil line and 6
bulbs per square foot.
