INTRODUCTION
Better Music Builder introduces the sleek new M-12 Series
Speakers. The main feature of the series is that these speak-
ers are designed to accommodate various setups based on
customer preference. From small to large formats these
speakers can be mixed and matched with ease of use. The
compatibility with the M-12 Series Speakers is perfect for
custom audio setups and intricate designs.
The M-12 SUB is the workhorse of the series. The 1400W
active subwoofer has more than enough power to power
passive speakers such as the M-12 Column Speakers and
the M-12 NP, allowing for the perfect complete stereo
system. Each M-12 Column Speaker uses a total of eight mid
& high drivers to produce crystal clear audio rated at 200
watts RMS. And the 300 watts rated M-12 NP, with its
lightweight design, can be transported with ease.
The newly designed subwoofers M-12 SUB and M-12 NP
utilize their own enclosures to accommodate various setups.
They can be placed in stand or flat position thanks to rubber
feet on bottom and side and also features mounting
locations for additional subwoofers. Like the subwoofer
cabinets, the M-12 Column Speakers also have mounting
locations to allow additional speakers to be mounted. With
these features the Better Music Builder M-12 Series Speakers
can be built to preference and setup capacity, making a
very adaptable series speakers for the consumer.

Doing so can result in damage or injury.
Do no expose the device to excessive dust, vibrations,
extreme cold or heat (such as in direct sunlight, near a
heater, or in a car during the day) to prevent the possibility
of panel disfiguration or damage to the internal

Prolonged use in this condition could cause overheating
and result in fire.
Do not rest your weight on the device or place heavy
objects on it, and avoid using excessive force on the
buttons, switches or connectors.
GETTING STARTED
WIRING
IMPORTANT: Make sure all equipments are turned off before
making any connections.
For speaker connections, use a high-quality speaker wire with
polarity coding. The side of the wire with a ridge or other
coding is usually considered positive polarity.
If desired, consult Better Music Builder technical
support for speaker wire and connection options.
The speakers have coded terminals that accept a variety or
wire connectors.
To ensure proper polarity, connect each + terminal on the
back of the amplifier or receiver to the respective + (red)
terminal on each speaker. Connect the – (black) terminals in
a similar way. See the owners guides that were included
with your amplifier, receiver and television to confirm connec-
tion procedures.
IMPORTANT: Do not reverse polarities (i.e., + to – or – to +)
when making connections. Doing so will cause poor imaging
and diminished bass response.
ADJUSTING
Check the speakers for playback, first by setting the system
volume control to a minimum level, and then by applying
power to your audio system. Play a favorite music or video
segment and increase the system volume control to a comfort-
able level.
You should hear balanced audio reproduction across
the entire frequency spectrum. If not, check all wiring connec-
tions or consult the authorized dealer from whom you
purchased the system for more help.
The amount of bass you hear and the stereo-image quality
will be affected by a number of different factors, including the
rooms size and shape, the construction materials used to
build the room, the listener’s position relative to the speakers,
and the position of the speakers in the room.
Listen to a variety of music selections and note the bass level.
If there is too much bass, move the speakers away from
nearby walls. Conversely, if you place the speakers closer to
the walls, there will be more bass output.
CARING
Each enclosure has a finish that does not require any routine
maintenance. When needed, use a soft cloth to remove any
fingerprints or dust from the enclosure or grille.

EXAMPLE OF SPEAKON CONNECTOR
There are two groups on the speakon connectors: Group 1
(+1,
1) and Group 2 (+2, 2) as indicated in the diagram. In
order to use it, your speaker must have multi-functions (i.e.
enable two sources of signal for input). If your speaker does
not have multi-functions, it would not work with the Group 2
for connection. Please refer to the following diagram for
connection.

Speakon Outputs
The upper Speakon jack has both Channel 1 and
Channel 2 outputs, so it is especially useful for parallel,
bi-amp, or BRIDGE mono operation. The other Speakon
