Conditions of acceptability
This equipment is for indoor use in non-hazardous locations, operated by qualified
personnel skilled in its use.
The EUT (Equipment under testing) shall be supplied with the specified rated
voltages according to the user manual.
The EUT fulfils the requirements of the tested standards only, if it is operated
according to the user manual and inside an appropriate fire enclosure for protection
against the spread of fire and for protection in case of direct contact.
The EUT fulfils the requirements of the tested standards only, if it is operated with a
certified overcurrent protection device according to the manual and the tested
standards.
The EUT fulfils the requirements of the tested standards only, if it is operated with a
certified EMI Filter, a certified input choke and a certified break resistor according to
the manual and the tested standards. In the list of materials and components
separately evaluated are the EMI filter, the input choke and the break resistor listed,
which were used for the testing of the EUT. These components were evaluated in
detail and may be used with the EUT.
The EUT fulfils the requirements of the tested standards only, if it is used with a
solid-state short circuit protection circuitry according to the user manual
The disconnection device for the EUT is part of the end application and must fulfil the

3 Product description
3.1 Auxiliary power supplies
The auxiliary power supplies are connected via the
mains filter to three-phase mains with line voltages
between 400 (1-10%) Vac and 480 (1+10%) Vac and
line frequencies between 50 (1- 4%) Hz and 60
(1+3.3%) Hz.
The main purpose of the QC-APS-15 is to supply the
+24 Vdc required to feed the control circuits of the QC-
PS-045-
main power supply as well as those of the
QC-DR-











The main purpose of the QC-APS3-15 is to supply the
+24 Vdc required to feed the control circuits of the QC-
PS-045-
main power supply as well as those of the
QC-DR-
-F
-
drives and other equipment connected
to the DC BUS, gently start the QC-RPS-
-F
-
main
power supplies using its soft-start circuit and protect the
motor against voltage spikes through its snubber circuit.
3.2 Non-regenerative power supplies
The non-regenerative QC-PS-
-
-
power supplies are
part of the FAGOR QC-PDS. They are connected via the
mains filter to the 3-ph mains with line voltages between
400 (1-10%) Vac and 480 (1+10%) Vac and line
frequencies of between 50 (1-4%) Hz and 60 (1+3.3%) Hz.
Devices with "-L" at the end of their commercial reference
allow line voltages in the range 200 (1-10 %) Vac and 240
(1+10 %) Vac. The QC-PS-025 power supply comes
integrated with an auxiliary power supply allowing for the
system control electronics to be supplied with +24 Vdc.

The QC-PS-045-
power supply does not come with
any auxiliary power supply and, therefore, it must
ALWAYS be installed with the QC-APS-15 external
auxiliary power supply to feed the system control
electronics with +24 Vdc.
3.3 Regenerative power supplies
The regenerative QC-RPS-F
-
-
power supplies are
part of the FAGOR QC-PDS. They are connected via
the CHOKE to the three-phase mains filter with line
voltages between 400 (1-10%) Vac and 480 (1+10%)
Vac and line frequencies of between 5 (1-4%) Hz and
60 (1+3.3%) Hz. These power supplies do not come
with any auxiliary power supply and, therefore, must
ALWAYS be installed with the QC-APS3-15 external
auxiliary power supply. Devices with "-L" at the end of
their commercial reference allow line voltages in the
range 200 (1-10 %) Vac and 240 (1+10 %) Vac.
