2. Operating the Safety

A. To Put the Airgun “ON SAFE:”

•Locatethesafetyontherightsideoftheairgun.

•Pushthesafetyinandallthewayforwardtowardthe“S”for“ONSAFE”(Fig.2).The

safetyisnot“ONSAFE”unlessitispushedallthewayforwardandtheredaroundthe

safetyisNOTshowing.

Likeallmechanicaldevices,anairgunsafetycanfail.Evenwhenthesafetyis“ONSAFE”,you

shouldcontinuetohandletheairgunsafely.NEVERpointtheairgunatanyperson.NEVER

pointtheairgunatanythingyoudonotintendtoshoot.

B. To Take the Airgun “OFF SAFE”:

•Pushthesafetyinandallthewaybackwardtowardthe“F”for“OFFSAFE”.WhenyoucanseetheREDring

aroundtheleftsideofthesafety,theairgunis”OFFSAFE”andcanbered.

3. Installing and Removing the CO

A. Installing a New CO

Cartridge

WARNING:

cartridges may explode at temperatures above 120°F (48.9°C). Do not

mutilate or incinerate them. Do not expose them to heat or store CO

cartridges at tempera-

tures above 120°F (48.9°C).

•Puttheairgun“ONSAFE”(seeSection2A).

•MakesuretheairgunisUNLOADEDandPOINTEDINASAFEDIRECTION.

•Holdingtheairgunasshown,slidethegripstraightbackandremove(Fig.3).

•Turnthepiercingknobleftuntilitisallthewaydown.

•InsertthenewCO

cartridgeintotheairgunwiththesmallneckoftheCO

cartridge

insertedrstandup.

•Finger-tightenthecartridgepiercingknobbyturningitright.Ifyouhearahissingsound

whenpiercingthegun,trytighteningthescrewmore.

•Linethegripupwiththegrooveontheframeandslidethegripforwardtoclose.

•Tomakesurethecartridgehasbeenpierced,pointtheairguninaSAFEDIRECTION,

take“OFFSAFE”(seeStep2B)andpullthetrigger.

•Iftheairgundoesnotmakeapoppingnoiseafterpullingthetrigger,theCO

isnotbeing

discharged.Inthateventputtheairgun“ONSAFE”(Step2A),removethegripand

tightena1/4turn.Replacethegrip.

•PointtheairguninaSAFEDIRECTION,take“OFFSAFE”(seeStep2B)andpullthetrig-

ger.

Thisisveryimportanttoremember,asitwillprolongthelongevityofyourairgunseals.

B. Removing CO

Cartridge

WARNING:

Keep hands away from escaping CO

gas. It can cause frostbite if allowed

to come in contact with skin. Always make sure the CO

cartridge is empty before attempt-

ing to remove it from the airgun by slowly turning the knob counter-clockwise all the way

until you no longer hear the escape of CO

gas.

•Puttheairgun“ONSAFE”(section2A).

•MakesuretheairgunisUNLOADED(section4B)andpointedinaSAFEDIRECTION.

•Linethegripupwiththegrooveontheframeandslidethegripforwardtoclose.

•Useonehandtoholdtheairgunatthetopofthereceiver,beingsurenottocoverthemuzzle.

•Loosenthecartridgepiercingknobbyslowlyturningitleft(seeg.3)allowinganyremaininggastoescape.

•DropouttheCO

cartridge.

•Tightenthecartridgepiercingknobenoughsothatthegripwillpassoverit.

•Slidethegripforwardtoclose.

4. Loading and Unloading BBs

•Makesuretheairgunis“ONSAFE”(SeeStep2A)andpointedinaSAFEDIRECTION.

•Removethemagazinebypressingonthemagazinereleasebuttonontheleft

sideoftheairgun.

•PullandholddowntheBBfollowertab(g.4)

•Insertupto20BBsintotheBBloadingholeonthefrontofthemagazine.

•PlaceangerovertheendofthemagazinewheretheBBswillexit.

•Withthemagazinepointedinasafedirection,releasetheBBFollowertab.

NOTE:ReleasingtheBBfollowertabquickly,orwithouttheendcovered,could

allowBBStoexitthemagazine.

•Inserttheloadedclipintotheairgun

•Yourairgunisnowloadedandreadytore,afterreadingtheentiremanual,

includingsection8onreviewingsafety.

B. Unloading BBs

•Puttheairgun“ONSAFE”(SeeStep2A).

•PointtheairguninaSAFEDIRECTION.

•Removethemagazinebypressingonthemagazinereleasebutton.

•PullandholddowntheBBfollowertab.

•TipthemagazineuntilalltheBBsfalloutofthehole.

•IfaBBisstillvisibleinthetopofthemagazine,pushtheBBoutofthemagazine.

•AimtheairguninaSAFEDIRECTION;insertthemagazineintogun,takeit“OFFSAFE”(SeeStep2B)andre.

NOTE:TheairgunmustbechargedwithCO

whenfollowingthesesteps,donotstoreyourairgunwithaCO

cartridgeinit.

•RepeatthisprocedureseveraltimesuntilyouaresureyouarenolongerringBBs.

WARNING:

Even though you go through the unloading procedure, continue to treat the

airgun as though it were loaded. Do not point at anything you do not intend to shoot.

5. Aiming and Firing Safely

2. Operación del Seguro

A. Para colocar el seguro del arma de aire comprimido (“ON SAFE”):

•Encuentreelseguroenelladoderechodelapistoladeairecomprimido.

•Empujeelsegurohaciaadelantehastaquellegueala“S”paraactivarlo(“ONSAFE”)(Fig.2).Elseguro

noseencuentraactivado(“ONSAFE”)amenosqueselohayaempujadocompletamentehastaelnal

yqueNOsevealamarcarojaqueestáalrededordelseguro.

Comotodoslosdispositivosmecánicos,elsegurodeunarmadeairecomprimidopuedefallar.Auncuando

elseguroestéactivado(“ONSAFE”),debeseguirmanipulandocuidadosamenteelarmadeairecomprimido.

NUNCAapunteelarmadeairecomprimidohaciaunapersona.NUNCAapunteelarmadeairecomprimido

haciaunobjetoalquenodeseedisparar.

B. Para quitar el seguro del arma de aire comprimido (“OFF SAFE”):

•Paradesactivarlo(“OFFSAFE”),empujeelsegurohaciaatráshastaquellegueala“F”.CuandoveaelanilloROJOalrededordel

ladoizquierdodelseguro,elsegurodelapistoladeairecomprimidoyanoestaráactivado(“OFFSAFE”)yéstapodrádispararse.

3. Instalación y extracción del Cartucho de CO

A. Instalar un Cartucho de CO

nuevo

Los cartuchos de CO

pueden estallar a temperaturas por encima

de los 48.9°C (120°F). No los mutile ni incinere. No los exponga al calor ni almacene los

cartuchos de CO

a temperaturas por encima de los 48.9°C (120°F).

ADVERTENCIA:

•AsegúresedequelapistoladeairecomprimidoestéDESCARGADAyAPUNTANDOENUNADIRECCIÓNSEGURA.

•Enrosquelaperillaperforadorahaciéndolagirarhacialaizquierdahastallegaralnal.

•InserteelcartuchodeCO

nuevoenlapistoladeairecomprimido;lapartemásdelgadadelcartuchode

esloqueseinsertaprimero,apuntandohaciaarriba.

•Ajustelaperillaperforadoradelcartuchoconlosdedos,enroscándolahacialaderecha.Sioyeunsiseo

cuandoestéperforandolapistola,intenteenroscarmáseltornillo.

•Coloquelacachaenladireccióndelaranuradelmarcoydeslícelahaciaadelanteparacerrar.

•Paracorroborarqueelcartuchosehayaperforado,apuntelapistoladeairecomprimidoenunaDIREC-

CIÓNSEGURA,desactiveelseguro(“OFFSAFE”)(consulteelpaso2B)ytiredelgatillo.

•Silapistoladeairecomprimidonoproduceunsonidodeestallidoaltirardelgatillo,quieredecirque

elCO

noseestádescargando.Enesecaso,activeelsegurodelapistoladeairecomprimido(“ON

SAFE”)(paso2A),extraigalacachayenrosque1/4devuelta.Vuelvaacolocarlacachaensulugar.

•ApuntelapistoladeairecomprimidoenunaDIRECCIÓNSEGURA,desactiveelseguro(“OFFSAFE”)

(consulteelpaso2B)yjaleelgatillo.

B. Extraer el Cartucho de CO

Mantenga las manos alejadas del gas CO

que salga. Puede causar

una herida por frío si entra en contacto con la piel. Asegúrese siempre de que el cartucho

esté vacío antes de intentar extraerlo de la pistola de aire comprimido; para eso, de-

senrosque la perilla despacio y por completo en el sentido contrario de las agujas del reloj

hasta que ya no oiga que sale gas CO

•Aojelaperillaperforadoradelcartuchodesenroscándolalentamentehacialaizquierda(verg.3),haciendoquesalgaelgas

restantequepudierahaber.

•DejequeelcartuchodeCO

sedesliceunpocohaciaafuerayextráigalo.

•Enrosquelaperillaperforadoradelcartucholosucienteparaquelacachapuedapasarporencima.

•Deslicelacachahaciaadelanteparacerrar.

4. Carga y descarga de perdigones BB

A. Carga de perdigones BB

•Asegúresedequeelsegurodelapistoladeairecomprimidoestéactivado(“ONSAFE”)(consulteelpaso2A)yquelapistola

apunteenunaDIRECCIÓNSEGURA.

•Quiteelcargadoroprimiendoelbotónliberadordelcargadorenlaparteizquierdadela

pistoladeairecomprimido.

•Tirehaciaabajodelalengüetacargadoradeperdigonesysosténgalaenesaposición(g.4)

•Insertehasta20perdigonesBBporeloriciodecargadeperdigonesenelfrentedelcarga-

dor.

•Coloqueundedosobreelextremodelcargadordondesaldránlosperdigones.

•Apunteelcargadorenunadirecciónseguraysueltelalengüetacargadoradeperdigones.

NOTA:Siliberalalengüetacargadoradeperdigonesrápidamente,osincubrirelextremo,los

perdigonespodránsalirdelcargador.

•Inserteelcargadorconperdigonesenlapistoladeairecomprimido

•InclineelcargadorhastaquetodoslosperdigonesBBcaiganatravésdelhoyo.

•Sisesiguieraviendounperdigónenlapartesuperiordelcargador,empújelohaciaafuera.

•ApuntelapistoladeairecomprimidoenunaDIRECCIÓNSEGURA,inserteelcargadorenlapistola,desactiveelseguro(“OFF

SAFE”)(consulteelpaso2B)ydispare.

NOTA:LapistoladeairecomprimidodebeestarcargadaconCO

alseguirestospasos,perorecuerde:noguardelapistolaconun

cartuchodeCO

puesto.

•RepitaesteprocedimientovariasveceshastaasegurarsedequeyanodispararáperdigonesBB.

Incluso tras haber seguido el procedimiento de descarga, siga

manipulando la pistola de aire comprimido como si estuviera cargada. No apunte hacia un

objeto al que no desee disparar.
