2. Intended used

To protect against any hazard, please follow the safety notices below when you set up,

use or maintain the touchscreen monitors.

All the safety or operation instructions should be read before this equipment is operated.

This manual should be retained for future reference.

The machine has high voltage, do not open the housing to avoid electrical shock.

Maintenance should be entrusted to professionals.

Incorrect method of operation may cause electric shock or fire. To ensure your safety and

the life of color LCD monitor, please read this manual carefully before use.

3. Safety instructions

The guarantee will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with these

operation instructions. We assume no liability for any consequential damage.

We do accept any liability for personal injury or damage to property caused by incorrect

handling or non-observance of the safety instructions. In such cases the warranty /

guarantee is voided.

● Please read this manual carefully before use.

● Manual must be kept to the needs of future.

● Do not use the accessories which manufacturer did not recommend.

● Only 12V DC power supply applicable for the unit.

● Don’t place this equipment on uneven or unstable cart, stand, bracket or table. This

equipment will fall, causing serious injury to a child or adult, and serious damage to

this equipment.

● Please operate the equipment under the instructions on back cover.

● Don’t overload the wall outlets and extension cords.

● Please use the cord carefully.

● Don’t place heavy items on the AC cord.

● Don’t touch the AC cord during a lightning storm,

● Please unplug the cord from the wall outlet if it is unused for long periods of time.

● Don’t place the equipment near water.

● Don’t expose the equipment to liquid, rain or moisture. Never spill liquid of any kind

onto the equipment. Refer all services to quality service personnel.

● Don’t attempt to service this equipment yourself.

● You are in the danger of high voltage if you remove the back cover, so please contact

quality personnel.

● Please cut off the power from outlet before cleaning the equipment.

● Don’t touch screen with any solid, tip-head item.

● Please clean the equipment with soft dry cloth, not chemical liquid cleaners or spray

cleaners.

● Don’t expose this equipment to high or low temperature or direct sunlight, which will

cause this equipment overheat and damage the equipment.

● Don’t block ventilation slots or openings and install this equipment in a place where

ventilation may not be obstructed.

● Never place this equipment on bed, sola, rug or other similar surface, or near cloth,

wall, bookcase rack, or other similar places unless proper ventilation is provided.

● Each switching time intervals do not less than 3 seconds.

5. Aspect instruction

(1) Front panel

1 REM: Remote control receiver

2 PC/AV: PC, AV1, AV2 Switch

3 VOL-: Volume down, Menu selection

4 VOL+: Volume up, Menu selection

5 MENU: Enter and exit the menu

6 PICTURE: Picture mode selection: light, standard, vivid, soft

7 SHUTDOWN: Setup the auto shutdown time

8 POWER: Power on/off

(4) Remote controller instruction

The average life of the battery will be nearly one year. It also depends on using condition.

When the battery’s power becomes weak and the working range of the remote controller

will shrink. The CR2025 lithium battery should be replaced with a new one.

(5) Precaution for lithium battery

1. The battery should be put on the place where is unavailable for children, supposing it is

swallowed by children by mistaken, consult the doctor immediately.

2. Wipe the battery with dry cloth to keep good connection

3. Insert the battery with the right direction

4. Do not hold the battery with mental pincers, or it may cause short circuit

(6) Installation of battery

1. Press the lock and pull out battery box

2. Insert the new battery into the box with positive electrode facing above

3. Install the box at the initial place

6. Basic operation

(1) PC connection

1) Make sure the resolution of PC screen is 800×600. If PC screen resolution is bigger

than 800×600, the touchscreen monitor can not show the picture.

2) Shut down the PC and touchscreen monitor.

3) Connect the VGA cable between PC and the set.

4) Connect the USB cable between PC and the set.

5) Power on the PC and then the set.

6) Install the Touch Driver software into PC. Please refer to the

Installation manual

of Touch driver

in the CD. The Touch panel driver supports operation

systems including Microsoft Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT4 / 2000 / XP / Vista / 7,

Windows CE 2.12 / 3.0 / .NET, Linux, iMac and DOS.

7) To finish the 4 point Calibration(correct 4 point locations on screen, 4 pts Cal).

Please refer to the

Installation manual of Touch driver

in the CD.

8) The monitor supports static touch, such as finger-touch.

(2) AV connection

1) Connect the AV cable, the RCA terminal connect AV IN port on the set, the other

terminal connect AV1, AV2 and audio signals.

2) Connect the power tou the set and power on, the LED light on the front panel will turn

on.

3) Press PC/AV button to select video signal.

4) Press VOL-/VOL+ to adjust volume.

5) Press MENU button to select items which need to be adjusted like brightness,

contrast ratio, color, picture up/down direction, mirror, reset. Press VOL-/VOL+ to

adjust them.

6) Auto shutdown setup: Press SHUTDOWN key on the front panel to choose auto

shutdown time, 15/30/45/60/75/90/105/120/off.

7) Reset function: Press VOL-/VOL+ to select the function.

Picture mode: Press PICTURE key on the front panel to choose picture mode. There

are four modes, vivid, soft, light and standard.
