Thank you for purchasing the Hyundai Speed Cam. Please read these
operating instructions carefully in order to use the camcorder correctly.
Keep the instructions in a safe place after reading so that you can refer to
them later.
¾ Precautions
Before using the Speed Cam, please ensure that you read and understand
the safety precautions described below. Always ensure that the camcorder
is operated correctly.
Do not point the Speed Cam, directly into the sun or other intense light
sources which could damage your eyesight.
Do not try to open the case of the Speed Cam or attempt to modify this
Speed Cam in any way. Maintenance and repairs should be carried out
only by authorized service providers.
Keep the Speed Cam and its accessories out of the reach of children and

animals to prevent accidents or damage to the Speed Cam.
If you notice smoke or a strange odor coming from the Speed Cam, turn the
power off immediately. Take the Speed Cam to the nearest authorized
service center for repair. Never attempt to repair the Speed Cam on your
own.
Use only the recommended power accessories. Use of power sources not
expressly recommended for this equipment may lead to overheating,
distortion of the equipment, fire, electrical shock or other hazards.

Preparing before using
¾ Charging the battery
The camcorder has a build-in lithium-ion battery, please charge the battery
at least 4 hours for first time use.
1: Push the cover locker down to open the cover, and then find the USB
jack.
2: Connect the camcorder to a PC via the USB cable.

3: Power off the camcorder.
4: Charging starts when charging LED turns BLUE. The charge indicator
light turns OFF when charging is completed.
5: Disconnect the camcorder. Push the cover locker down to close the
cover.
¾ Battery indicator
Battery indicator Description
The battery level is full.
The battery level is half.
The battery level is low, please prepare for
charging the battery.

¾ Inserting the Memory Card
You can use CF Card with this camcorder.
1:Turns off the camcorder.
2: Push the cover locker down to open the
cover, and then find the CF card slot.
3: Insert the CF card as show in the figure.
If the memory card has successfully b
inserted you can hear a clear buzzer and an
icon
will display on the LCD screen.
To remove the card, gently press on the edge of the card and release it.
Pull the card out and close the cover.
Do not touch the connection terminals on the back side of the card.
If insert or remove the card while the camcorder is power on , it may be
damages the card or data.

About the memory
This camcorder does not equipped with internal memory. An SD card or
multimedia card must be inserted for this spot camcorder to operate. If a
card has not been inserted this Speed Cam can not record.
Basic operation
¾ Turning Power On and Off
1:Press the POWER button to turn on the camcorder.
2: Press the POWER button again to turn the power off.
This camcorder will automatically turns off 180 seconds after the last
control accessed. Press the POWER button to turn on the camcorder.

¾ Display on the LCD screen
When the Speed Cam is power on, these icons will display on the LCD
screen.
¾ Recording Movie Clips
1:Turn the power on.

2: Start recording.
Press the REC button to start recording. The LCD monitor displays the
recorded time.
3:Finish recording.
Press the REC button again to stop recording .The camcorder will stop
recording automatically when the memory capacity is full.
¾ Setting the resolution
1:Turn on the Speed Cam.
2: Press the MENU button, the LCD screen display

3: Press the REC button to enter the submenu.
4: Press the MENU button to change the resolution.
Each time the MENU button is pressed the icon on the LCD screen is

changed.
: The video clip size is 1440x1080.
: The video clip size is 1280x720.
: The video clip size is 848x480.
5: Press the REC button to confirm the setting. The LCD screen display

7: Press the MENU button, the LCD screen display the hour, press the
REC button to change the value.
8: Press the MENU button, the LCD screen display the minute, press the
REC button to change the value.
9: Press the MENU button until the LCD screen display

¾ Download files from the camcorder to PC
There are two ways to down files from the camcorder to PC: by using the
card reader or by connecting the camcorder to a PC with the USB cable.
Using the Card Reader
1: Eject the memory card from the camcorder and insert it in a card reader
that is connected to a computer.
2: Open [My Computer] or [Windows Explorer] and double-click the
removable drive icon that represents the memory card.

3: Copy images from the card into a directory of your choice on the
computer’s hard disk.
Connecting the Camcorder to a PC with the USB Cable
1: Connect the camcorder with supplied USB cable to the computer's
USB port. Turn on the sort camcorder , if the connection is successful an
icon
will display on the LCD screen.
2: Open [My Computer] or [Windows Explorer]. A "Removable Disk"
appears in the drive list. Double-click the "Removable Disk" icon to view its
contents. Files stored on camcorder are located in the folder named
"DCIM".
¾ Playing back movie clips
You can only play back the movie clips by a PC or HDTV.
