PREPARING FIREPLACE CABINET FOR
BRASS TRIM INSTALLATION
1. Using the template on page 2, fold sheet on fold line.
Align template with the edge of the bottom or top panels
as shown in Figure 1. Mark the locations (X) 1/4" from
edge of bottom and top panels of the fireplace cabinet
with a sharp nail or center punch through the paper
template.
2. Drill holes on fireplace panels at each marked hole
location using a 3/16" diameter drill bit.
3. Slide one clip onto the ends of each brass trim piece.
(There are two clips pre-installed per strip.)

INSTALLING BRASS TRIM
1. Fireplace should be fully assembled. See Assembling
Fireplace in fireplace owner’s manual.
2. Align one brass strip along the upper panel. Using
needle-nose pliers, slide the clips along the trim until
they align with the drilled holes. Beginning with the
clip on the far left, snap in the clips one at a time as
they align with the holes and continue until all four have
been snapped into place.
3. Repeat step 2 to install the brass trim on the lower panel.
