Disabling the Wireless Functions
The wireless functions on your VAIO computer, such as the wireless LAN and BLUETOOTH®
functions, are enabled at the time of delivery. To disable the wireless functions, click
(Start), All Programs, VAIO Smart Network, and then click the switch next to the
wireless function you want to disable to toggle it to Off.
To enable the wireless function, click the switch to toggle it to On.
Disable all the wireless functions before entering the places where the use of wireless functions is
prohibited, for example in airplanes and hospitals. If you urgently need to disable the wireless functions,
turn off your VAIO computer.
