IMPORTANT!
You
must
keep
the
rubber
seal
of
the
camera
housing
clean.
A
single
hair
or
grain
of
sand
can
cause
a
leak.
To
clean
the
seal,
simply
remove
the
seal
and
rinse
it
in
fresh
water.
Shake
it
dry
to
avoid
lint
and
re-install
it
into
the
back
door
of
the
housing.
Failure
to
do
so
can
result
in
a
leak
which
can
damage
or
destroy
your
camera.
Due
to
possible
user
error,
the
housing
is
not
warranted
against
leakage.
Use
RAIN-X
or
a
similar
anti-beading
solution
to
avoid
water-spots
on
the
lens
when
using
in
rain
or
water.
Highly
recommended.
Removable Back Door

Use
this

when
water

is
not

This
door
allows
more
sound
to
reach
the
camera's
microphone
and
reduces
wind
noise
up
to
100
mph
when
mounted
on
helmets,
motorcycles,
bikes,
and
other
fast
moving
vehicles.
Surprisingly,
yes,
the
non-
waterproof
back
door
does
help
reduce
the
wind
noise,
but
only
up
to
100
mph.
If
you
are
going
faster
than
100
mph
and
the
camera
is
in
the
wind,
the
sound
will
be
better
with
the
sealed
back
door.
If
using
the
camera
inside
of a
car,
regardless
of
speed,
the
non-waterproof
unsealed
back

is
recommended
as
wind
is
not
an
issue.
Tips
for
choosing
which
back
door
to
use
are
printed
on
the
back
of
the

it
on
and
off of
its

Quick Release Mounts: Tips and A
The
housing
quick-release
clicks
on
and
off of
the
supplied
curved
adhesive
mount.
The
curved
adhesive
mount
makes
it
easy
to
attach
the
camera
to
the
curved
surface
of
helmets,
vehicles,
and
gear.
See
ADDITIONAL
MOUNTING
ACCESSORIES
section
of
these
instructions
to
learn
about
more
mounting
options
and
accessories.
IMPORTANT!
When
attaching
the
adhesive
mounts,
be
sure
to
carefully
clean
the
surface
of
your
helmet,
gear,
etc.
Failure
to
do
so
will
result
in
a
weak
bond
and
you
risk
losing
your
camera
if
the
bond
fails.
Wax,
oil,
dirt
or
other
substances
will
reduce
the
adhesive
bond.
Remove
all
wax
and
debris
before
attaching.
IMPORTANT!
Only
attach
your
mounts
in
room
temperature
conditions.
The
adhesive
will
not
work
if
applied
in
the
cold.
After
attaching
in
room
temperature
conditions,
it
is
safe
to
use
in
cold
temperatures.
For
best
results,
attach
your
mounts
at
least
12
hours
before
using
in
cold
conditions
to
ensure
the
strongest
adhesion.
