The air conditioner is not intended for use by young

Young children should be supervised to ensure that

When the power cord is to be replaced, replacement
work shall be performed by authorized personnel only,
using only genuine replacement parts.
We recommend usage of voltage stabilizer with
high / low voltage cut off in areas having voltage
fluctuations.

airflow for extended periods of time.

off. The fan rotates at a very high speed during operation. There is a
possibility of injury if the unit’s power is accidentally triggered on while
cleaning inner parts of the unit.

This appliance must be properly grounded.
To minimize the risk of electric shock, you must always plug into a grounded
outlet.
Do not cut or remove the grounding.
Attaching the adapter ground terminal to the wall receptacle cover screw does
not ground the appliance unless the cover screw is metal and not insulated,
and the wall receptacle is grounded through the house wiring.
If you have any doubt whether the air conditioner is properly grounded, have
the wall receptacale and circuit checked by a qualified electrician.

About the Controls on the air conditioner
THERMOSTAT (TEMPERATURE)
The THERMOSTAT/TEMPERATURE is used to maintain the room temperature. The
compressor will cycle on and off to keep the room at the same level of comfort.
When you turn the knob to a higher number (the right side) and the indoor air will
become cooler. The temperature is selected by turning the
Thermostat/temperature knob to the desired position.
The 5 or 6 position (the middle position of arc) is a normal setting for average
conditions.
If you move the switch from a cool setting to

Your Panel may look like any of below mentione d panels.
OPERATION MODE SELECTION BUTTON
Select (a) Cool, (b) Energy Saver, (c) Fuzzy & (d) Dry. In dry mode, unit will run at low fan speed only
with compressor 'ON'. When compressor is 'OFF', fan will be off.
During Energy Saver mode, fan stops when compressor stops cooling. Approximately after 3 minutes
fan will turn ON to determine if cooling is needed. If cooling is not needed, the fan turns OFF again.
ON/OFF TIMER
Set the time of on/off operation. The timer can be set by the one hour for a maximum of 12 hours. In case of Auto
Restart, ON/OFF Timer is automatically cancelled.
Used to Start or Stop the Plasma Purification function.

In failure of electric power the unit runs as previous setting operation when power returns.

The vertical louver swings horizontally by the automatic system and stops when you press the button again.

Child Lock is used to prevent children from changing the settings of the unit. It can be activated when the
unit is ON by pressing the Fan Key (4) and the Timer Key (3) simultaneously for 5-10 seconds. When the
Child Lock is active, icon 'CL' lights upon the control panel. Now, the keys on the Control Panel and the
Remote Controller will stop working. To deactivate the Child Lock, press again the Fan Key (4) and the
Timer Key (3) simultaneously for 5-10 seconds. When Child Lock is deactivated icon 'CL' goes off on the
Display Panel.

a. In case when CLEAN FILTER indication is 'ON' on the Control Panel, the Plasma Pure Filter (For select
models) needs to be cleaned. Turn 'OFF' the unit and remove Plasma Filter by opening the grill. Then
clean the filter and replace it back to it original position. After this close the grill and turn 'ON' the unit.
The CLEAN FILTER indication goes 'OFF' on the Display Panel. In case it doesn't reset the unit.

b. In case when CLEAN FILTER indication is blinking on the Control Panel, the Anti-Bacteria / Deo-Air Filter
needs to be cleaned. Turn 'OFF' the unit and remove the filter by opening the grill. Then clean the filter
and replace it back to the original position. After this close the grill and turn 'ON' the unit. Then press
the Temperature Down key (5) continuously for 5 seconds. The CLEAN FILTER indication goes 'OFF'
on the Control Panel.

How to Insert the Batteries
Remove the battery cover by pulling it according to the
arrow direction.
Insert new batteries making sure that the (+) and (-) of
battery are installed correctly.
Reattach the cover by sliding it back into position.
NOTES:
• Use 2 AAA(1.5volt) batteries. Do not use rechargeable
batteries.
The remote control may be stored by mounting it
on a wall.
To operate the room air conditioner, aim the
remote control at the signal receptor.

About the remote control on the system
The Remote Control unit will not function properly if strong light strikes the sensor window of the air
conditioner or if there are obstacles between the Remote Control unit and the air conditioner.

To raise the temperature

Mode, press the Operation Mode Selection button.
Each time the button is pressed, the operation mode is
shifted in the direction of the arrow.
Close the door on the remote control. Set the temperature
higher than the room temperature. The temperature can be
set within a range of 18°C~30°C in 1°C increments.

Open the door on the remote control. To select Fuzzy
Mode, press the Operation Mode Selection button.
Each time the button is pressed, the operation mode is
shifted in the direction of the arrow.
The temperature and fan speed are automatically set by the
electronic controls based on the actual room temperature. If
you want to change the set temperature, close the door on
the remote control and press the Room Temperature Setting
buttons. The cooler or warmer you feel, the more times (up to
two times) you should press the button. The set temperature
will be changed automatically.
During Fuzzy Mode :
You cannot switch the indoor fan speed. It has already been set by the Fuzzy rule.

NOTE:
During the JET COOL function at any moment, the A/C starts to blow the cool air at
high speed for 30 minutes setting the room temp. automatically to 18°C. It is
especially used to cool the room temp. in the shortest time in a hot summer.
In order to return to the normal cooling mode from the JET COOL mode, you just press
either the operation mode selection button, Fan Speed button or temp. setting button
or the JET COOL button again.

The unit will respond with

the speed cooling mode and the unit
will operate in high fan speed
on cooling mode for 30 minutes.
To cancel the Jet Cool mode, press the Jet Cool button

button is pressed, the fan speed mode
is shifted.
Air purifying operation (PLASMA) can be with cooling
or any other operations.
PLASMA Air Purifying Operation only
If you press only the PLASMA button, PLASMA
air purifying operates only.
Then, fan speed is low. You can select the fan
speed in four steps-low, medium, high or
CHAOS*.
Each time the button ( ) is pressed, the fan
speed mode is shifted.

Personal Mode (P1 / P2 / P3)

Open the door on the Remote Control.
Press the Personal Mode operation button.
The last personal mode P1 or P2 or P3,
which was running will be displayed on the
control panel. The unit will start to operate
as per the last saved settings of desired
temperature, fan speed, auto-swing for the
personal mode displayed.

Settings for desired temperature, fan speed, auto-swing can
be changed for each mode P1/P2/P3 separately after the
particular mode P1/P2/P3 has been selected using the
personal mode key.

After the settings have been changed or not changed for
desired temperature, fan speed, auto-swing in a particular
mode (P1/P2/ P3) the temperature setting key, fan speed key
auto-swing key will be locked within 20~25 sec of the last key
pressed during the process of changing the settings. Only
buzzer will sound when these keys are pressed. However, if
the personal mode key is pressed again the keys will be
unlocked.
PERSONAL MODE
When the unit is running in any of the personal modes P1/P2/
P3 and it is turned "OFF" and then turn "ON" using the control
panel, then the unit will start in cooling mode.
Personal Mode can be cancelled using the mode key, fan key
and the jet cool key on the remote controller and mode key on
the control panel.
Personal Mode is used to save the independent setting for the desired temperature, fan speed
and auto-swing for 3 different modes P1, P2, P3. Pressing the Personal Mode key on the remote
control will change the Personal Mode in the sequence P1 – P2 – P3 – P1 on the control panel.
Temperature setting key, fan speed key and auto-swing key on the control panel will be locked as
soon as Personal Mode is selected. Only buzzer will sound when these keys are pressed.
Personal Mode will operate only when the unit is running in cool mode.
