PREPARATION FOR USE
Unpacking and Setup
* Carefully remove the unit from the Giftbox and remove all packing material from the unit
itself.
* Remove any descriptive labels that may be found on either the front or top cabinet of the unit.
Do not remove any labels located on either the back or button cabinet of the unit.
* Press the CD door OPEN Button to open the CD compartment door. There is a white card in the
CD compartment which is intended to prevent the CD pickup from moving during shipment of
the product,Remove this card from the CD compartment before use.
Using AC power
1.Connect the AC power into standard household wall outlet.For dual voltage version.Make sure
that the AC VOLTALGE SELECTOR is switched to your local voltage.The default selected voltage
is 222V.50Hz
2.To switch off completely, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet to protect your set during heavy thunderstorms.

Welcome to Sytech! Thank you for purchasing the NFA Micro System SY-8036. Please read this
manual carefully before operating your product and pay close attention to the precautions which
are mentioned below. Store this user manual in a safe place for future reference. We are sure that
this new NFA Micro System will satisfy your needs.
1.FUNCTION BUTTON
-To select source of sound CD/USB/
NFA/AUX/RADIO.
2. POWER BUTTON
-Press POWER button to turn ON/OFF power.
3. RANDOM BUTTON
-In a CD/MP3/USB/SD mode, press this
button to play song in RANDOM order.Press
it twice to cancel.
4.PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON
- To start or pause MP3/CD/USB playback.
-In radio mode, press the PLAY/PAUSE button
to enter the automatic channel scan mode.
5. EQ BUTTON
-Press the EQ button to change the sound tone
to CLASSIC-ROCK-POP-JAZZ-FLAT.
6.STOP/USB/SD BUTTON
- Stop CD/MP3/USB/SD playback;erase a CD
program.
- Press and hold more than 1.5 sec to
change between USB1.1/SD media( only U-Sd).
7.LCD DISPLAY
- Displays the FM dial frequency.
- Displays the number of tracks.
8.REPEAT BUTTON
- Repeat a track CD,MP3 or USB.
- Repeat mode : Normal->Repeat 1->Repeat All
->Repeat Album ->Normal.

Setup the time of the unit
1.Connect the AC power(The following operation must be in standby mode).
2.Press the TIME BUTTON, the time will show up on LCD display.
3. . You can setup the
time format in 12h or 24h.
4.Press time button to confirm.
5.Then you can set the hour and the minute with the same method of steps 3-4.
Rotate the BACK/NEXT dial to select either the Hours or Minutes of the time
Remote Control

* Your Remote Control is supplied with one small Lithium battery type CR-2025 inside the
compartment.
* Pull out the plastic paper from the battery door before using the remote control.
* Replace the batteries when the remote control operation become unstable or the distance from
which the remote control works become shorter.
* Using the remote control unit:
To use the remote control, point it at the Remote Sensor and press the buttons gently and firmly.
remote control operation is possible within approximate 18ft (6m). However, since the remote
control range is less when the unit is used at an angle, it should be used directly in front of the
remote sensor to gain maximum distance. Do not expose the remote sensor to strong light
(direct sunlight or artificial lighting) and make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote
sensor and the remote control unit.

BASIC REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS:

-Press the BBS BUTTON to expand the bass boost.Press it again to cancel.

Press the POWER BUTTON on the unit or the POWER BUTTON on the Remote Control to switch
the system ON/OFF.
RANDOM BUTTON
In CD/MP3/USB/SD mode, press the RANDOM BUTTON on the remote to play music in
RANDOM mode.Press it twice to cancel.
Press the EQ BUTTON to change the sound tone to CLASSIC-ROCK-POP-JAZZ-FLAT.
Press the MUTE BUTTON to turn off the volume whilst the music is still being played. To restore
the volume, press the MUTE BUTTON once again.
Press the INTRO BUTTON to play the first 10 seconds of each track. Press the INTRO BUTTON
twice to go back to NORMAL playback.
1.Press the FUNCTION button and select RADIO mode.
2.Tune to the required station by rotating BACK or NEXT.
Manual Tuning: Rotate BACK or NEXT and then release within 1 sec.
Auto Tuning: Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to enter the automatic channel scan mode. Then
auto-tuning operation will start automatically until a station has been found.
Preset Channel:(FM 30 preset memories)
(1) Rotate BACK or NEXT to select desired station.
(2) Press PROGRAM button once , the MEMORY number indicator will be displayed on the
screen.
(3) Push PRESET- DOWN or PRESET-UP buttons to select the desired station number.
(4) Press PROGRAM button to save that station.
(5) Repeat steps (1) to (4) for saving other stations.
3.After the end of a program, push the PRE-UP or PRE-DN button to start playing the playing the
radio stations that you selected or press the number key on the remote control.
4.Adjust the VOLUME button to the desired volume level.
5.Extend the FM antenna to its full length if you are listening to FM broadcast.
6.Turn off the radio by pressing the FUNCTION button and select another mode or press the
POWER button to turn off the unit.
7.If you switch on the unit once again after having shut down, the last frequency selected will be
memorized.

USING THE NFA FUNCTION
This function allows you to listen to your favorite music stored on your phone, tablet through the SY-8036
speakers!(No need of Bluetooth)
1.Press the FUNCTION button to selector NFA mode.
2.Open the phone’s music player application and place the phone speakers close to the NFA induction
area (see below fig).The sound will automatically amplify and can be heard through the micro system
speakers.(Note:the phone must have a built in speaker,or else this function will not work)
3. Adjust the volume using the VOL- and VOL+ buttons.The volume level can be adjusted from the micro
system or from the phone itself.The NFA function is compatible with any audio device which includes and
external spearker.The “Near Field Audiofunction amplifies the sound from the speaker and plays it back
to the main micro speakers.
To listen to the music from an MP3 ,Discman,Walkman or any other external audio device.

Press the function button until you select AUX, the sound source of the MP3,Discman or
Walkman or other external audio device, will be heard through the micro system speakers.
Adjust the volume control to the desired level by using the VOL- and VOL+ buttons.
The external device cannot control the player; all functions must be carried out through the unit.

Repeat-Play the current track continuously.
Repeat all-Plays the entire cd continuously.
The SY-8036 can play Audio Discs, MP3 CD-R.
Do not try to play CD-ROM, CDi, VCD,DVD or
Computer CDs.
Press the FUNCTION button to select the
CD mode.
2.Press the OPEN button to open the CD
compartment.
3.Insert a MP3/CD or CD-R with the printed
side facing up and press CD Door gently to
close or the OPEN button.
Press the Play/Pause on the unit to start
playback.
Press the PAUSE button to pause the playback
if necessary, Press the play button to resume
playback.
To stop the CD playback, press the STOP
button once.
Note: CD/MP3 play will also stop
When you open the CD compartment.
When you select another mode.
When the CD/MP3 has reached to the end.
Selecting a different track
During playback you can use the NEXT or
BACK buttons to select a particular track.
If you have selected a track number in the
stop or pause position, press play to start the
playback of the selected track.
Rotate NEXT once briefly for the next track,
or press repeatedly until the desired track
number appears on the display.
Rotate BACK once briefly to return to the
beginning of a current track.
Rotate BACK more than once briefly for a
previous track.
Finding a passage within a track
1. Rotate and hold down the NEXT or BACK
button.
The CD is played at high speed at this point.
Use NEXT to forward within a track; Use BACK
to rewind within a track.
When you recognize the passage you want,
release the BACK OR NEXT button and normal
playback will resume.

Repeat-plays the current track continuously.
Repeat all-plays the entire CD continuously.
Random:After pressing the RANDOM button,
the tracks will be played in random order.
Note:When connecting an external audio
device (AUX) the repeat and random function
will not be operative.

-Press and hold the [STOP] key more than 1.5 sec at USB mode , so that the system can change
to SD mode.
-At this point “SD” will be display on screen and the system will read data from the SD card.
- If a device is successfully read, then the files are then ready to playback.
- If a device fails to be read, then “NO” will appear on the Display screen to indicate that there
is no device .
*Note : If no device is attached or the player fails to read the device when user switches over
USB to SD with pressing [STOP] key, then “NO” is displayed and the system automatically goes
back to STOP mode.
Note:
-When the unit has no CD Disc in serted into the CD slot,and a USB/SD card has been inserted,the
unit will read the USB/SD card automatically.The unit always reads from the USB first, if there is
a USB connected.
-Due to the various types of formats,the unit may not be able read some devices.For example,
some HDD and MP3 players may not be supported.

PROGRAM METHOD
(1)Press the [PROGRAM] key at STOP mode, system will go to PROGRAM mode.
-The PRG icon and P01 will blink on the display. This prompts the user to enter the first songs in
the program PLAY list.
(2)You can select the desired tracks by using the [NEXT] and [BACK] keys.
Once these keys are pressed, the display will show the selected track.
(3)After having selected the desired tracks, press [PROGRAM] key again and it stored in the
programed tracks into memory.
(4)If press the [STOP] key during the program mode, then the selected tracks will be stored
in the memory and unit will return to STOP mode (Continuous play mode)
(5)If press the [PLAY] key during the program mode, the unit will start the playback from the .
track of the programmed track list.

Erasing a program
You can erase the content of the memory by:
- During playback,press the STOP button twice.
- Opening the CD door at anytime.
- Selecting another mode.
Care of the Cabinet
1. To prevent fire or shock hazard, disconnect your unit from the AC power source when cleaning.
2. The finish on your unit may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared for as other furniture. Use
caution when cleaning and wiping the plastic parts.
3. Mild soap and a damp cloth may be used on the front panel.
