Important Informa tion
Trailer
This BRP Sea-Doo MOVE™ trailer has
been spec ially designed to carry a per-
sonal watercraft (PW C).
Hitch
WARNING
The use of a hitch with an insuffi-
cient load rating ca n result in hitch
breakdown.
Be sure the hitch ball size matches the
couple r size.
Inspec t t he hitch for wear, corrosion
and cracks before coupli ng. Replac e
the required com ponents if a ny of the
above condition s is observed.
WARNING
Do no t tow w henever a comp o-
nent is defective.
NOTICE
The coupling socket
should not be allowed to rest on
the ground where dirt and sa nd can
enter the sock et. This will lead to
excessive wear or cause the locking
mech anis m to jam.
Ensure hitch is tight before coupling
the trailer to the vehicle.
WARNING
An improperly coupled trailer can
result in a loss of control or se rious
road hazard. Never use t he tra iler
pre-use inspection is completed.
Tow Vehicle
Som e vehi c les are not intended to tow
a trailer. Make sure your vehicle is de-
signed to tow a trailer a nd i t s towing ca-
pacity is sufficient.
WARNING
Never tow this trailer with a vehi-
cle not intend ed for trailer towing
or w ith an insufficient towing ca-
pacity.
Accessories and Modifications
We recommend to use replacement
parts and accessories from B R P.
They’v e been especially designe d f or
your tra iler and m a nufa c tured to meet
BRP’s dem andi ng stand ards.
Do not ma k e unauthorized m odifi ca-
tions, o r use acce ssories that are not
approved by BRP. Since these changes
have not been tested by BRP, they
mayincreasetheriskofaccidentsor
injuries, and they can m ak e the trailer
illegal for use.

Serious injury or death can result if this
trailer is towed before familiarizing
yourself with the manufacturer's
operation instructions listed below.
Do not exceed the tow vehicle's
"tow rating" or exceed the
GVWR or GCWR.
Before towing this trailer check that:
 Coupler hitch and trailer ball are the same size. Coupler is latched. Safety chains are crisscrossed
under tongue and attached to towing vehicle.
All trailer lighting is working correctly. Load is secured to trailer (front and rear).
Tongue jack (if trailer is equipped) is retracted.
 Wheel lug bolts are properly tightened. Tires are inflated to pressure indicated on tire.
 Load is within trailer capacity and distributed properly to maintain proper tongue weight.
You are required to comply with local and state requirements regarding brakes,
licensing and any additional equipment that may be necessary.

TRAILER SET-UP
MOVE I and II with Winch
Set tongue w eight, bow s topper roller,
and bunks as follows.
NOTE: For these trail ers, the axle
must b e ke pt in factory po stion all the
time.
Tongue Weight
Move winch support towards fro nt or
rear of trailer in order ad just tongue
weight.
The tongue weight should be from 3
to 10% of the total traile r and PWC
weight with tong ue pa ra llel to the
ground .
To adjust, loose n the 4 nuts under-
neath the w inch support U-bolts, move
winch support t o the desired pos ition,
then tighten nuts as per the f ollowi ng
table.

Set bow roller stopper so tha t it leans
on the PW C bow between rub ber
bumper a nd bow ey elet ( or b ow cup
on selected mod els).
To ad just:
1. Loosen the 2 nuts un dernea th the
front win ch support U-bolt.
2. Rem ov e the w inch a r m adjustment
bolt.
3. Set the bow roller stopper to the de-
sired height, then lock i t in positi on
by inserting the bolt thro ugh the
aligned winc h support and winch
arm holes.

Bunks
The wooden bunk s are preset to suit
all Sea-D oo personal waterc ra ft (PWC )
hull designs , howev er, a univers a l
rule a ppli es : bunk s must lean squa re
against a plain area of the hull.
Make sure the bunks are w ell posi-
tioned.
To ad just:
1. Loosen the 2 nuts un dernea th the
bunk w hen the PW C is not on the
trailer.

BEFORE GETTING UN DERWAY
Attaching the Trailer to the
Tow Ve hicle
1. Mak e sure that the c oupler and hitch
ball are the s a me size (2 in).
2. Hav e someone guiding you and
back the tow vehicle as close as
possibl e to the trail er. This is eas ier
and safer than pulling the trailer to
the vehicle.
3. Be sure the co upler- locking m ec ha-
nism is released.
4. Rais e the front end of the trailer. Po-
sition the c oupler di re ctly over the
hitch ball and lower until it is all the
way down.

BEFORE GETTING UNDERWAY
Pre-Use Inspection
WARNING
Perform a pre-use inspection before each use to detect potential problems
during operation. The pre-use inspection can help you monitor wear and
deterioration before they become a problem. Correct any problems that
you discover to reduce the risk of a breakdown or crash. See an authorized
Sea-Doo dealer as nec es sary.
OPERATION
Make sure the hitch ball size matches the coupler size (5 cm (2 in)).
Check that the personal watercraft (PWC) is ready to be towed according to
the PWC manufacturer's recommendations.
Check that t he jack is retracted.
Check tires condition and if they are pr operly infl ated. Refer to
MAINTENANCE
PROCEDURES
for details.
Check tightness of wheel lug nuts.
Check if load i s within maximum load carrying capacity.
Check if coupler is latched and locked.
Check if t ongue safety cables or chains are crisscrossed under tongue and
attached to hitch.
Check lights operation.
Clean all reflectors and lights lenses.
Check i f personal watercraft (PWC) is properly secured t o the trailer at rear.
Make sure the personal watercraft (PWC) is properly secured at front using the
safety cable and at back using tie-downs.

TOWING THE TRAILER
Follow the tow v ehicle's ma nufa c t urer
instructions rega rding trailer towing.
SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH can re-
sult if you d o n ot follow these ins truc-
tions:
When towing the trailer, pay particular
attention to the following :
Us e a l onger follo wing dista nc e
from the vehicle in front of you.
W hen tow ing a trailer, more time
and distance are needed wh en
passing or stopping .
R educ e your s peed and slow down
more than usual before tu r ning a nd
avoid sharp turns.
When corne ring, ac hieve the turn on
a larger radius. It ta k es more spac e
to turn with a trailer.
A lw ays move slo wl y when back-
ing up. Ask someone to guide you
when possible. Practice in an open
area at the first opportunity.
If trailer starts to sway, do not hit
the brakes or compensate using the
steering w heel. Reduce speed and
maintain a steady course.
When go ing downhill, reduc e speed
before s ta rting the desc ent. Do not
brake continuously. Apply and re-
lease brakes alterna tely to prevent
brakes from overheating.
Loss of control of the trailer or
trailer/vehicle combination can result
in s erious injury or death. The m os t
common causes of loss of control of
the trailer are:
Driving too fast for th e conditions.
Overloading the trailer or loading the
trailer incorrectly.
Tra ile r improperly coupled to the
hitch.
Inad equa te towing hitch.
Not maintaining pro per tire pres-
sure.
Not keeping wheel lug nuts tight.

LAUNCHING T HE WAT ERCRAFT
La unch ing the Watercraft
(Trailers with W inch)
1. Prepare the pers ona l wa tercraft
(PW C) for launching according to
the P WC manufa ctu rer's recom -
mendations.
2. Remove tie-downs from stern and
trailer eyele ts.
3. Disconnect lights c onnector.
4. Mak e s ure the way is cl ear behind
the trailer (in and ou t of water).
5. At tach ropes to the w a tercraft
moorin g cleats and prevent them
from hanging.
6. Hav e someone guiding you and
back the vehicl e until trailer rea c hes
the desired depth into water.
NOTE: The PW C mu st not float abov e
the bu nks.
7. Hold the winch handle firmly and set
winch mecha nism to "unwi nd" .

8. Unw ind until waterc raft slides off

essary to push the w atercraft a little.
9. Grab the ropes previou sly atta ched
to the mooring cleats, then moor the
watercraft.
10. Drive the tow vehicle out of t he
ramp.
