HIITMill and HIITMill X Power Sensor Installation:
1. Remove the three (3) screws securing the brake
cover to the brake using a 4mm allen key.
NOTE: When reinstalling the user left side brake cover
after installing the RPM and Power Sensors, the new
brake cover supplied with the console kit must be
used.
2. Using a 6mm allen key, remove the three (3)
screws securing the brake assembly to the frame.
NOTE: When reinstalling the brake, the screws
must be torqued to 27 lb-ft (37Nm) using a torque
wrench. Be sure that the ywheel is centered
within the brake before torquing. If additional help
is needed with re-aligning the brake, please see doc
#637-4527.
3. Install the non-grommeted end of the RPM-to-
Power Sensor Cable into the Power Sensor then
install the 10-pin molex connector from the main
data cable into the power sensor.
HIITMill (X) Console Installation
Applies to: HIITMill (9-4590) + HIITMill X (9-4640)

4. Use a 3mm allen key to secure the Power Sen-
sor with attached cables to the brake assembly
using two (2) M4 x 10mm screws. Once the Power
Sensor is installed, re-attach the brake assembly
to the frame then reinstall the inner brake cover
and the new outer brake cover, taking care to
route main data cable between the frame and
the outer cover
NOTE: When reinstalling the brake, the screws
must be torqued to 27 lb-ft (37Nm) using a torque
wrench. Be sure that the ywheel is centered
within the brake before torquing. If additional help
is needed with re-aligning the brake, please see doc
#637-4527.
NOTE: When reinstalling the user left side brake cov-
er, the new brake cover supplied with the console kit
must be used. BE CAREFUL NOT TO PINCH ANY CA-
BLE WHEN INSTALLING THE NEW BRAKE COVER.
HIITMill and HIITMill X RPM Sensor Installation:
1. Use a phillips screwdriver to remove the sensor
cover from the RPM Sensor. Then plug the RPM-
to-Power Sensor Cable into the RPM Sensor and
seat the cable grommet inside the cutout. Finally,
reinstall the RPM Sensor cover..
Note: The RPM-to Power Sensor Cable should already
be installed if the Power Sensor was installed rst.
2. Use a phillips screwdriver to secure the RPM Sen-
sor to the frame using two (2) M5 x 10mm screws.
NOTE: Some early frames did not have a 2nd hole
to mount the RPM Sensor, if this is the case, use the
included #10 thread-cutting pan head phillips screw
and a power drill to secure this screw and the RPM
Sensor into the frame. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.

HIITMill and HIITMill X Console Installation:
1. Using a 3mm allen key, remove the two (2) M5
x 16mm screws securing the cover plate to the
user left side handrail.
2. Use a 4mm allen key to secure the HIIT Console
mount to the user right side frame with two (2)
pieces each of the M5 x 16mm screws and M5
washers.
3. Use a #2 phillips screwdriver to remove the
locking screw securing the battery drawer inside
the console. Remove the battery drawer then
install two (2) LR14 1.5V batteries into the drawer.
Finally, reinsert the battery drawer and reinstall
the locking screw.

4. Use a 3mm allen key to secure the HIIT Console
to the mount using four (4) M5 x 14mm screws.

5. Route the main data cable (indicated by the bold
red line) from Step 3 of the Power Sensor Instal-
lation instructions, up the user left side handrail,
plugging the RJ45 connector into the console.
Using the supplied cable ties, secure the main
data cable to the handrail where indicated by the
arrows - be sure to trim o any extra length of
the cable and rotate the lock toward in the inside
of the frame.
After installing the console, ensure that the unit type is set for the appropriate model:
1. Power the console on by pressing the counter-clockwise arrow.
2. Press and hold the level up, level down, and clock buttons at the same time for 5-10 seconds.
3. Use the down arrow to navigate to the 3rd page and press the clock button to change between the following:
P1 tread” - HIITMill and HIITMill X
P2 bic1” - HIIT Bike
P3 ergo - HIIT UBE
P4 “Step” - Not Currently Used
P5 bic2” - Airt Bike
P6 “none” - Not Currently Used
4. Press the counter-clockwise arrow button to save the unit type.
Calibrating HIITMill (X) Power Sensor:
Before using the HIITMill with the HIIT Console installed, the power sensor must be calibrated. If the sensor is not
calibrated before using the unit, the console will display inaccurate workout data. The calibration should only need
to be done during the rst setup. The calibration can also be done to correct any issues with the workout data not being
accurate.
1. Push the brake adjustment lever all the way forward (away from the user).
2. Press and hold the level up, level down, and clock buttons at the same time for 5-10 seconds.
3. Use the down arrow to navigate to page 6, then push the clock button to set the zeropoint angle.
4. Press the back button located between the up/down arrow buttons to return to the main workout screen.
