Carefully read this manual before using this appliance. Make sure that you know how the
appliance functions and how to operate it. Maintain the appliance in accordance with the
instructions to ensure that it functions properly. Keep this manual with the appliance. If the
appliance is to be used by a third party, this instruction manual must be supplied with it. The

BEFORE INITIAL USE
Remove all packaging. Carefully wipe the outer case with a soft damp cloth and dry it
afterwards with a dry towel. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Wash
the accessories and bowl in warm soapy water to remove any impurities, dry with a dry towel.
Check for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Do not use if the appliance is
damaged in any way or if the supply cord is damaged. Immediately contact the details listed at
the front of this manual for assistance.

Multi Function Whisk Attachment Dough Hook

- For mixing cakes, biscuits, pastry, icing, fillings, éclairs and mashed potatoes.
Whisk Attachment
- For eggs, cream, batters, meringues, cheesecakes, mousses, soufflés.
Warning: Do not use the Whisk Attachment for heavy mixtures, as you may damage the
Attachment.
Dough Hook
- For breads and other yeast mixtures.
OPERATION GUIDE
This appliance has been designed for general indoor household use only.
Warning! Always place on a level surface. Do not let the supply cord hang over the edge of
any table in case young children should pull the appliance from the bench. Disconnect from the
power supply when not in use.
Assembly Instructions
Attaching Accessories (beater, dough hook or whisk)
Raise the mixing arm (6) by releasing the locking lever (4) (located on side) by pressing
downwards.
Warning: Always make sure the Stand Mixer is switched OFF before raising the Mixing Arm.
Attach desired attachment (beater, dough hook or whisk) to mixer arm attachment socket and
lock in place securely by inserting upwards and turning anti clockwise to secure. Lower the
mixer arm until it locks into place.

Attaching Mixing Bowl
To fit the mixing bowl, raise the mixing arm as above. Place the bowl onto the base and fit into
the fixing socket. Turn clockwise to lock in place. Lower the mixer arm as above.
Note: The locking lever will stay open whilst the mixer arm is raised. It will automatically
return to the lock position when the mixer arm is lowered into place.
Power Connection
Warning! Install the desired attachments before connecting to the mains supply. Plug the
appliance into a suitable power outlet and switch on.
Warning! Ensure the mixer arm is lowered into bowl before switching ‘ON’.
Operation
Place food items into mixing bowl and place on platform as above. Select desired speed using
the ON/OFF speed selector switch (3). It is recommended that a slower speed be used at first.
To operate in short bursts, switch the speed control to Pulse.
Note. The maximum continuous operating time recommended is 5 minutes.
Operating Speeds
When Mixing – Start on Level 1 and increase to Level 6.
When Whisking – Gradually increase to Level 6.
When Kneading Bread – Start on Level 1 and increase to Level 2.
Tips when Mixing
- Frequently stop mixing, switch the power off, and scrape the inside of the Mixing
Bowl with a plastic or wooden spatula (not provided).
- When whisking eggs, it is best to use eggs that are at room temperature.
- Before whisking egg whites, make sure that both the Mixing Bowl and the Whisk
Attachment are clean, and free of grease and/or egg yolk.
- When making pastry, it is best to use cold ingredients, unless advised otherwise.
Making Bread
- Never exceed the maximum capacity of this Stand Mixer (2kg).
- If the Stand Mixer appears to be having problems mixing the dough, remove half of
the mixture and mix separately.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl first.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
When using electric appliances always observe safety regulations where applicable to reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Supply cord and plug.
Always fully unwind any cord to avoid overheating. Never allow the supply cord to come in
contact with hot objects. Do not carry the appliance by the cord or yank the cord to disconnect
it from the mains supply. Disconnect by first switching off the outlet, grasping the plug and
pulling it out gently. Do not let the supply cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.
If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a
similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Children.
Caution. Keep out of reach of children.
This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons. Young children
must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Young children and

Water.
Do not immerse. Do not immerse any part of this appliance or supply cord in water or other
liquid. Do not use with wet hands or use in damp situations.
Handling.
Do not drop the appliance. Do not use this appliance if it has been damaged in any way,
immersed in water, the supply cord is damaged or the operation is faulty. Contact with any
damaged appliance could result in electric shock.
Unattended.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. Disconnect from the power supply.
Store in a safe place
When not in use store your appliance and all its accessories and instruction manual in a safe
and dry place.
Liability.
No liability can be accepted for any damage or personal injury caused by non-compliance with
these instructions or any other improper use or mishandling. This appliance is intended for
household use only.

CARE AND CLEANING
Before cleaning.
When not in use or before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply.
Cleaning guide.
Regularly clean the outside of the appliance with a soft damp cloth and dry it with a dry towel.
WARNING! Do not immerse appliance in water.
Remove the mixing bowl and accessories and wash in hot soapy water, dry with a dry towel.
Wipe any overflow food residue with a damp cloth, taking care not to allow any liquids to enter
the appliance.
Do not use harsh solvents to clean the plastic components.
Storage
When not in use store the appliance, the cooking plates and these instructions in a dry place.
