BLEED INSTRUCTIONS: Air Motor Pump
when applying force to the load point.
1. With a leveraging tool Remove the 3 return springs from the Spring Saddle
and remove the Spring Saddle to reveal the Filler Bung.
2. Remove the filler bung and if required, refill with ISO68 Grade Hydraulic Oil
until the oil is lapping the bottom of the filler hole. Replace the Filler Bung,
Spring Saddle & Return Springs.
3. Connect the air supply line to the Raise/Lower Control valve at the top of the
handle assembly.
4. Turn the Raise/Lower control knob to the raise position and hold until the ram
reaches full extension.
5. Turn the Raise/Lower control knob to the lowering position and hold until the
ram is fully retracted.
6. Repeat steps 1 to 2 checking the oil level and topping up if required.
7. Repeat steps 3 to 5 checking oil level at step 5 until the rams extend smoothly
to full extension.
At this point the Air Motor Pump and Lift Ram should be free of air and the Jack
ready for operation. If the jack continues to show the symptoms as above repeat
steps 1 to 7 or please refer to a Qualified Hydraulic Technician.
*These TQPro Truck Jacks use ISO68 Grade Hydraulic Oil for the correct operation and compatibility with the seals used in their
construction.
The usual fault symptoms of a TQPro PROTRAJ20T Air/Hydraulic Truck Jack with air in the system are as follows.
- Air Motor Pump runs but no movement in the Lift ram.
- Lift Ram will only partially extend then air motor runs on.
