Polco bottle jacks are produced to conform with European Standard EN 1494/A1:2008.

Please read this manual carefully before you use your jack and ensure you understand its operation and the
safety procedures to be observed.
Make sure this manual is kept for future reference and that new users of this product read and understand the
contents before they use the jack.
Inspect before each use. Do not use if broken, bent, cracked, or damaged parts are noted. If the jack appears
damaged in any way, operates abnormally, or is missing parts, it must be removed from service immediately.
If the jack has been, or is suspected to have been, subjected to a shock load (a load dropped suddenly,
unexpectedly on it), immediately discontinue use and remove from service.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Polco bottle jacks are designed to lift, but not sustain, rated capacity loads.
Intended use: to lift one axle of a vehicle for the purpose of service and/or repair of vehicle components. After
lifting, loads must be supported by appropriately rated axle stands. Check vehicle owner’s manual for proper
lifting points.
