1. General Description and Features
General Description
The VC-632 is a Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) Day/Night Camera that has 1/3 SuperHAD CCD. The VC-632
displays an excellent video image where bright environments as well as dark environments exist at the same
time.
For example, a WDR camera displays a very clear image of a person as well as a window, while a
general purpose color camera displays a dark image of person when that person stands against a
window.
The VC-632, with improved day/night functions, allows the mode to change automatically, according to
brightness.
Daytime: Color image, frame integration mode.
Nighttime: B/W image, frame integration mode.
Three types of day/night functions can be selected.

** Caution **
z When IR Cut Filter changes, there is some noise and video distortion.
This is normal and comes from movement of the motor.
z In the night mode, strong IR light or reflected light may cause abnormal functioning.
z Due to IR light, focusing can be difficult.
z With an autoiris lens, if level selected is too dark, IR Cut Change mode may not
setup automatically.
z In the Frame Integration mode, the number of frames per second can be reduced
