To enable the Panasonic Music Streaming app to access the music stored on a Windows 7/8 computer
the DLNA settings need to be set. Windows XP and Vista do not natively support DLNA however there
is DLNA server software available for these operating systems.
Checking the computer DLNA settings

Check that ‘Music’ and ‘Stream my pictures,music, and videos to all devices on my home network’ are
ticked. Then select ‘Change advanced sharing settings…’.
Check that ‘Turn on network discovery’, ‘Turn on file and printer sharing’ and ‘Turn on sharing so
anyone with network access can read and write files in the Public folders’ are selected. Save changes if
any are made.

Check that Windows Media Player has indexed the iTunes library.
Windows Media Player acts as the DLNA server so for other devices to be able to access the songs
held in the iTunes library Windows Media Player must index them.
This shows the albums that need to be indexed that are held in the iTunes library.
Open Windows Media Player and select ‘Organize’, ‘Manage libraries’ and then ‘Music’.
