Safety Instructions
· This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or by people with little experience or knowledge, unless they
have been instructed concerning use of the appliance or under
the supervision a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they are not playing with the
device.
· Do not allow the scale to be handled by children, even when it
is off.
· Always use or store the scale in places with room
temperature on a flat surface.
· Place the objects carefully on the scale. Never drop objects
on the scale and never leave anything on it for a long time.
· Avoid leaving the scale next to cell phones or other devices
that may cause electromagnetic interference, as this may cause
malfunction.
· Remove the batteries if the scale is not used for a long time.
· This scale should be used only in internal rooms. Do not use
or store it in locations with extreme temperatures.
· Do not use the scale if it is damaged.
· Do not attempt to repair the scale, as this will result in the loss
of warranty. Only professionals trained by Electrolux are
allowed to repair it.
Ÿ This device runs on batteries. Its misuse can cause
batteries leak or explosion, resulting in injuries. In case of
contact with the liquid that leaked from battery, immediately
wash the affected area with running water and look for a
doctor.

How to use
1. Place the scale on a flat surface.
2. Make sure that there is no object on the scale.
3. Press key to turn the scale on.
4. Press key to select the desired unit of measure.
5. Place the item on the scale platform.
6. The weight will appear on the digital display.
7. The scale will turn off after 60 seconds or if you hold the key
pressed for 2 seconds.

IMPORTANT
To turn the scale on, place the items to be weighed
carefully and make sure that they are stable over platform.
The balance may take 2 to 3 seconds to stabilize and
display the weight.
WARNING
The maximum capacity of these weighing scales is 5250 g.

Tare Function
1. Place the scale on a flat surface.
2. Make sure that there is no object on the scale.
3. Press key to turn the scale on.
4. Press key to select the desired unit of measure.
5. Place the empty container on the scale and wait until the weight appears
6. Press key once to reset the display to zero.
7. Put the ingredients to be weighed in the container.

The Tare function allows you automatically subtract weight of
a container or dish to determine the net weight of the
ingredients to be weighed.

9. Once all items are removed from the scale, the display shows a negative
number. Press key to cancel the Tare function and the display
returns to zero. If you switch off the scale function Tare also will be
canceled.
IMPORTANT
If you wish, you can turn the scale on with a bowl or dish on
the platform. By doing so, the balance will automatically
activate the Tare function, discounting the weight of the
object and showing the display reset.

4. To reset the Timer, press the key for 2 seconds.

Betteries Replacement
1. Make sure that the positive / negative poles are in the correct position.
2. Use a screwdriver with thin tip to remove the old batteries.
3. Replace the batteries for new ones, with the specifications indicated
on page 19, according to the illustrations bellow:

guarantee in case of breaking. So do not remove this

Small cares and little time are enough to keep your scale
clean and well maintained.
Ÿ Never use abrasives, solvents or any other chemical to clean
the appliance, as they may damage it.
Ÿ Use a damp cloth. Do not soak or immerse the scales in water
or any other liquid, because it is not waterproof.
Ÿ Do not leave the scale in humid rooms, as this may damage it
and result in loss of warranty.
