Outlet Setup
Before beginning installation of your ALVI SMART Device please remember to:
1. Plug your ALVI adapter into an electrical outlet (see fig 1.). Note: An extension cord may be required.
2. Slide your ALVI SMART Device half way into your furnace filter housing (see fig 2.) and connect the
ALVI adapter end to your ALVI SMART Unit.
3. Slide ALVI all the way into your furnace filter housing, ALVI Unit LED should be solid Purple (see fig. 3).
Remove your current furnace filter from the housing.
Switch your furnace/central HVAC system to off.

PLUGGED IN, TO PREVENT MILD SHOCK

Light Bulb Setup (If Applicable)
Before beginning installation of your ALVI SMART Device please remember to:
Remove your current furnace filter from the housing.
Switch your furnace/central HVAC system to off.

Turn off light switch before removing light bulb.

4. Slide your ALVI SMART Device half way into your furnace filter housing (see fig. 7) and connect the
ALVI adapter end to your ALVI SMART Unit.
5. Slide ALVI all the way into your furnace filter housing, ALVI Unit LED should be solid Purple (see fig. 8).
1. Remove light bulb from socket (see fig 4.).
2. Insert ALVI Light Bulb Adapter into socket and turn till tight (see fig. 5).
3. Connect ALVI Power Adapter into outlet on ALVI Light Bulb Adapter (see fig. 6).
Note: Moving forward, use the string attached to the Light Bulb Adaptor to turn the light on and off (leave light switch on at all times),
or power to ALVI will turn off.

Pairing Procedure
Before beginning the pairing process of your ALVI SMART Device, please remember to:
Download ALVI App from Apple Itunes store or the Google Play store.

1. Set up your ALVI account information.
2. Follow pairing procedure on device. During the pairing process ALVI LED will change color from solid
Purple to solid Red. Once pairing is complete ALVI LED will quickly change from Red to Blue, then turn off.
(see fig 9.)
