This special Anton/Bauer Gold Mount bracket allows
you to use your existing Logic Series
®
batteries to
power a smaller lower voltage 6 / 7.2 volt camera.
An internal DC to DC converter brings down the
voltage of a 14.4 volt battery to 7.2 volts in order to
power the camera. This is automatic. At the same
time, the 14.4 volts is still applied to the PowerTap
®
connector of the Gold Mount allowing you to power
an Ultralight
®
, Ultralight 2, or any other piece of
equipment which is powered from a 12 volt DC
source (10 amp maximum draw).
Attach the QR-XLH to the camcorder as shown in
the drawing. Use the three (3) screws provided to
attach at the base; and for use on XL-H1 there are two
(2) additional screws provided for securing the QR-
XLH to the Canon “Adapter Holder” at the top. Snap
the “dummy” battery into the battery compartment.
