NOTE: To ensure correct operation, the electronic
programming unit must be earthed.
Legend of the symbols on the display:
A (1)= Automatic program in operation
(2) = If displayed, oven operation is enabled. If off, the oven
is not connected to the electric power supply and cannot
operate.
(3) = If flashing, it indicates that the programming unit is
waiting for the user to enter the necessary parameters.
(4) = If on, it indicates that a timer alarm is on.
(5) = key used to decrease the time setting
parameters/timer parameters. (It is used to select the
desired level among the 3 available timer alarm levels).
M (6) = “Mode” key to access the programming unit
programming options.
+ (7) = key used to increase the time setting
parameters/timer parameters.

Switching the appliance on for the first time
When the oven is connected to the electric
network, or after a power cut, the digits on the
display and the letter A will flash. In this condition,
the oven cannot be operated.
To set the current time and/or enable the
operation of the oven press and hold the M key for
2 minutes. The letter A goes off and the digits on
the display stop flashing.
While the dot (3) is flashing, press the or + keys
to update the time displayed. The set value is
accepted by the programming unit shortly after the
key is released. If the time is not updated
immediately, refer to the section “updating the
current time and changing the volume of the timer
alarm”, to reset the programming unit and set the
dot to flashing mode.
NOTE: The oven can perform cooking
operations only when the programming unit
displays the symbol .
Timer alarm
The timer function is simply an acoustic warning.
This can be adjusted for a maximum period of 23
hours and 59 minutes.
After this time, the symbol will go off and an
acoustic signal will come on. This can be
deactivated pressing any key. Otherwise, it will
automatically go off after 7 minutes. To adjust the
timer press the M key for 2 seconds or until the
symbol starts flashing. Use the + or keys to
increase or decrease the displayed parameters, that
set in how many hours and/or minutes the timer
alarm must come on. Once the desired time is
displayed release the + or key.
After a few seconds the current time and the
symbol will be displayed. Countdown will start
immediately.
Semi-automatic cooking
Cooking DURATION:
After selecting one of the available cooking
functions and setting the desired temperature,
press the M key for at least 2 seconds to access
the programming mode. The symbol comes on.
Release and press the M key again. The A symbol
starts flashing and “durappears on the display.
“dur” will then be replaced by: 0? 00.
Set the desired cooking time by pressing the or
+ keys. (the maximum time that can be set is 10
hours). The set time will be processed
automatically by the automatic programming unit
after a few seconds. Otherwise keep pressing and
releasing the M key until the current time is
displayed. The A symbol will be on.
The end of cooking time will be notified by an
acoustic signal, after which the oven will
automatically switch off. See following sections:
disabling the timer alarm and enabling the
oven. At the end of each cooking operation return
the knobs to the 0 position.
END of Cooking:
After selecting one of the available cooking

Cooking will start immediately. After a few seconds
the programming unit display will revert to
displaying the current time. The A symbol will be
on.
The end of cooking time will be notified by an
acoustic signal, after which the oven will
automatically switch off. See following sections:
disabling the timer alarm and enabling the
oven. At the end of each cooking operation return
the knobs to the 0 position.
Automatic cooking
Set the cooking DURATION time following the
instructions in the chapter Cooking DURATION.
Set the end of cooking time following the
instructions on the previous chapter. (The
maximum time that can be set is 24 hours).
The oven will automatically come on at a time
corresponding to the end of cooking time less
the cooking duration time.
During the “waiting period”, before the oven starts
preheating, the display will show the symbol A,
indicating that an automatic program is running,
together with the current time. The oven switching
on will be notified by the symbol coming on.
The reaching of the end of cooking time will be
notified by an acoustic signal, after which the oven
will automatically switch off. See following sections:
disabling the timer alarm and re-enabling the
oven.
At the end of each cooking operation return the
knobs to the 0 position.

Timer alarm deactivation
Press any key to manually deactivate the sound
alarm.
Re-enabling the OVEN
At the end of each semi-automatic or automatic
cooking cycle, in addition to the current time, the
flashing A symbol will also be displayed. In these
conditions, power supply to the oven heating
elements and the light will be disconnected.
To reactivate the oven operation press and hold
down the M key until the symbol comes on
and the letter A goes off.
OTHER FUNCTIONS OF THE
PROGRAMMING UNIT:
Cancelling a Semi-automatic or Automatic
program.
To cancel a semi-automatic or automatic cooking
program, A symbol on, press and hold down the
and + keys at the same time for 2 seconds or until
the symbol comes on and the A symbol goes
off.
Cancelling the timer alarm
To cancel the timer alarm countdown, symbol
on, press and hold down the M key for 2 seconds
or until the symbol starts flashing. Press the
and + keys at the same time.
Checking the status of the functions
The set, or remaining time for all functions
performed by the programming unit, can be
displayed by pressing the M key. This will give
access to the programming mode. Press and hold
down the M key for 2 seconds or until the
symbol comes on. The display will show the
remaining time or a series of zeros (if the timer is
disabled).
Press the M key again. The display will toggle
between “dur” and the remaining time, or a series
of zeros (if the timer has been deactivated).
Press the M key again to display the end of cooking
time, previously set, and “End”.
Updating the current time or changing the
timer alarm volume
With the programming unit in standard mode,
symbol on, press and hold down the and + keys
at the same time for 2 seconds or until the dot
starts flashing. To update the time press either the
+ or keys accordingly. To change the volume of
the timer alarm press the M key. The following will
be shown on the display: n… followed by a
number. Keep pressing the key until the desired
time is selected.
NOTE: 1 indicates the highest level. Number of
available levels: 3.
WARNING: The interruption of the electric
power supply will cause the resetting of all
programmed function, including the clock. Once
power supply is restored, the programming unit
must be programmed again.

STATIC FUNCTION
Use when all the food is on the same runner level.
- Preheat the oven to the required cooking
temperature and place the food inside as soon as
the orange thermostat indicator light switches off.
- When using the Static Function the shelf must be
placed on the second level from the bottom.
BOTTOM HEATING FUNCTION
Use this function:
- To finish baking fruitcakes or cheesecakes.
- To thicken sauces.
Use the bottom heating function for the last
minutes of cooking time.
TOP HEATING FUNCTION
Use this function:
- To brown the top surface of fruitcakes or
cheesecakes.
Use the top heating function for the last minutes of
cooking time.
GRILL FUNCTION
Use the grill function to cook small pieces of meat
and to make toast.
- The oven door must be closed during grilling.
- Preheat the grill for about 5 minutes. Arrange the
meat on the shelf with the drip tray underneath.

Pour water into the drip tray to cover the
bottom thus reducing smoke and fat splatters.
- Turn the food over about half-way through
cooking time.
TURBOGRILL FUNCTION (Grill + Fan)
This function is ideal for grilling larger pieces of
meat (roast beef, roasts, chicken, etc.).
- The oven door must be closed during grilling.
- Arrange the meat on the shelf with the drip tray
underneath. Pour water into the drip tray to
cover the bottom thus reducing smoke and fat
splatters.
- Turn the food over about half-way through
cooking time.
PASTRY FUNCTION (Static + Fan)
This function is ideal for cooking quiches, sweet
and savoury pies with liquid or fruit filling (cheese
cake, apple pie etc,) on one level.
- There is no need to preheat the oven (apart from
pizzas and focaccias).
For cooking on two different level:
- Change over the position of the food inside the
oven for a few minutes before the end of
cooking.
- Remove the cooked dish and, if necessary,
continue cooking the other one for as long as
required.
FAN FUNCTION
Use this function when cooking food on more than
one level (fish, vegetables, pasta):
- Choose foods that require the same cooking
temperature
- Oven preheating is not necessary
- Remove the cooked dish and, if necessary,
continue cooking the others for as long as
required.
DEFROST FUNCTION
Ideal for thawing frozen foods to room
temperature.
- The food should be put in the oven in its
wrapping to prevent it from drying out.
Oven functions
Turn the control knob clockwise to the symbol required.
The oven light switches on.

WARNING:
Do not use aluminium foil to cover the grill tray or to wrap the food being cooked as the reflected heat
will damage the grill element and the aluminium foil can catch fire.
