Operation of the DEMONSTRATION MODEL
This DEMONSTRATION MODEL is only for supervised operation in showrooms and at
exhibitions. Sale to an end customer is not allowed.
The DEMONSTRATION MODEL is a modified version of a series appliance with all the
safety functions of a series appliance. However, through the modifications made in order to
demonstrate the main features, the appliance has been modified to such an extent that it is
necessary to carry out an additional subsequent check, to ensure safe operation of the
appliance and the perfect condition of all the modifications.
Before initial use:
Only plug this DEMONSTRATION MODEL into an electric socket protected by a Type A
current-operated circuit breaker permitting a nominal circuit-breaking current of max. 30
mA. Such a current-operated circuit breaker is marked with the symbol

Check to ensure that the socket ground wire the has been properly connected as per the
regulations.
Never set up the appliance near sources of heat (radiators, heating tanks, ovens or other
devices which give off heat).
After setting up the appliance the plug must still be freely accessible.
The plastic housing near the water connection contains an electrically operated valve and
the connection lines are located in the inlet hose. Do not cut through this hose or
submerge the plastic housing in water.
Check before each use:
All housing parts and above all the plastic display windows of the appliance must be
undamaged.
The plastic display windows must be watertight. Check round the edges of the windows
for signs of water leakage or gaps; especially round the inner plastic display windows.
While in operation:
During operation, look out to ensure that the display windows and the appliance show no
signs of leakage. This may be indicated by dribbles of water or puddles.
If damage (except minor, superficial damage) or leakage is detected, the DEMON-
STRATION MODEL may no longer be used and must be disconnected immediately
from the mains supply by pulling out the plug. It must also be ensured that the
appliance cannot be switched on again in this condition.
