To Load the Magazine
1. Unlatch and open the back cover. Depress the
spring plunger in the center of the drum (See
Illustration #1) to release the spring tension.
This should be depressed using a tool, we
suggest using an AK cleaning kit tool or the
handle of a screwdriver to avoid injury to the
fingers. CAUTION: Make sure the main
spring is not under tension before loading!
2. Ensure that the spring is not under tension. If the
spring is under tension, follow the directions in
step one to release the tension. Press down the
spring tension plunger with your finger and
rotate the feed wheel so that the follower is in the outside track at the 2 o’clock position. Load
three rounds of ammunition in front of the follower. (See Illustration #2.) While holding down
the plunger, rotate the feed wheel counter clockwise until the three rounds are in the loading
tower. (See Illustration #3).
