Label position
The product label is positioned on the
back of the active device.
Preparation
Ensure there is a power socket
within reach of where the device
is being installed.
Impotant: Instructions need
to be followed precisely and
uninterrupted. This minimizes
the risk of damage to the iber
optic connectors, causing a severe
degradation of signal qualiy.

Installation guide
Remove Blind Cover (if present)
. Press and hold the unlock buton (see buton oveview).
. Rotate the Blind Cover counterclockwise till it blocks.
. Remove the Blind Cover from the baseplate (FTU) by pulling
it towards yourself.
. Store the Blind Cover in a safe place.
Remove dust cap
. Take the FiberTwist out of the box.
. The dust cap is connected to the red string
located on the rear of the FiberTwist.
. Remove the dust cap by pulling the red string.
. Store the dust cap in a safe place.
Twist!
. Place the FiberTwist on the FTU as shown in the picture below,
in a –degree angle.
. Rotate clockwise until it clicks into place.
. Make sure the FiberTwist is aligned squarely on the FTU,
each edge must line up directly with the FTU below.
Your FiberTwist is now installed!

Connecting the FiberTwist
. If required, connect your television  set-top box to the TV pot with a coax cable.
. If required, connect your personal devices to the LAN pots via an RJ
nework cable.
. Connect the supplied power adapter to the FiberTwist and plug the adapter
into a power socket.
Warning: The FiberTwist is a Class  laser product.
If at some point in the future it becomes necessay to uninstall the FiberTwist,
please place the Blind Cover back on the FTU immediately and put the dust cap
back on the FiberTwist.
Changing your router setings
Depending on the nework coniguration of your operator, the FiberTwist-P
can also provide suppot for routing functionalities. If this is the case, the router
setings can be changed by logging in to the web GUI using below instructions. If
routing functionaliy is not suppoted by your Sevice Provider, the web GUI will
not be reachable.
. Connect a computer to one of the LAN pots.
. Log in to the web GUI by browsing to htp:router
Your username and password can be found on the label inside the product box.
