WEG SSW900 is a soft-starter that provides protection against contact to energized parts and has the following capabilities:
- Protection against contact to energized parts: The SSW900 can be equipped with an optional kit that provides protection against contact to energized parts. This kit is connected directly to the SSW and the protection is fixed close to the power terminals, both at the line input and at output to the motor.
- Easy and quick installation: The front-touch protection accessory is simply and quickly incorporated. Fit the protection in the hole located above the power connection terminals and using a screwdriver, press down until it snaps into the bottom hole. Make sure the protection is firm.

Sempre desconecte a alimentação geral antes de tocar em qualquer
componente elétrico associado à SSW.
Aguarde pelo menos 3 minutos para a descarga completa dos
capacitores da potência.
2 INFORMAÇÕES GERAIS
Este módulo opcional tem a função de proteção frontal ao contato nas
partes energizadas.
O Kit é conectado diretamente à SSW. A proteção é encaixada junto aos
bornes de conexão de potência tanto na entrada da rede de alimentação
quanto na saída para o motor.
3 INSTALAÇÃO DO ACESSÓRIO
O acessório de proteção contra toque frontal é incorporado de forma
simples e rápida.
Encaixe a proteção na furação localizada acima dos bornes de conexão
de potência (a), (b) e (c).
Usando uma chave de fenda, pressione para baixo até encaixar no furo
inferior (d).
Certifique-se que a proteção esteja firme.
Para colocar a proteção nos bornes de potência da rede de alimentação,
repita a sequência anterior.

Always disconnect the general power supply before touching any
electrical part in connection with the SSW.
Wait at least three minutes for the complete discharge of the power
capacitors.
2 GENERAL INFORMATION
This optional kit has the function to protect against contact to energized
parts.
The Kit is connected directly to the SSW. The protection is fixed close to the
power terminals, both at the line input and at output to the motor.
3 INSTALLATION OF THE ACCESSORY
The front-touch protection accessory is simply and quickly incorporated.
Fit the protection in the hole located above the power connection terminals
(a) and (b).
Using a screwdriver, press down until it snaps into the bottom hole (d).
Make sure the protection is firm.
To place the protection on the mains power terminals, repeat the above
sequence.

alimentación, repita la secuencia anterior.
