5. Turn the tablet over onto its feet (see below – A). Note that the tablet angle can be increased by
extending the tab on each leg (see below – B).

1. Two knurled screws at the top of the back panel hold the top cover in place. Loosen and remove
these screws.
2. Remove the top cover to make the cable connections. The cable will feed though one of the
openings in the cutaway section in either back corner.
3. Connect the USB end of the cable to the USB port on the tablet as shown below.
4. Pull the rubber plug from the power port next to the USB port, then connect the power cord
connector to the power port on the tablet as shown below. The tablet is battery powered and
needs to be plugged in to charge.
a. Disconnect the original (blue) cable. The original cable
can be folded inside the compartment as depicted here.
b. Push the RJ45 connector on the new cable through
the opening. (Note: Pushing the connector through the
opening may force the protective rubber cover off the
connector. Simply slide the rubber cover back on the
connector when it is through the opening.)
c. Connect the RJ45 connector to the port (see red arrow).
d. Replace the top cover and attach it with the two knurled
screws.
