or from the passenger seat of most major airlines. This means

you can travel the world without leaving your valuable data

behind.

Note: The recharger kit is designed to recharge the Palm IIIc

organizer. It will not recharge any other Palm

Computing

platform handheld.

Using the Recharger

The versatile recharger kit enables you to recharge your

organizer while travelling in an automobile, an airplane, a train,

a boat, or wherever there’s a standard cigarette lighter socket.

Note: It takes up to 4 hours to recharge your organizer. You

can use your organizer while it recharges, but it takes

longer to recharge than when it remains off.

We recommend that you back up your data and turn off your

organizer before using the recharger kit.

Using the recharger kit in an automobile

The cigarette lighter adapter enables you to use an automobile

cigarette lighter socket to charge your organizer. The adapter

fits the socket in most vehicles. If the adapter does not fit

securely in the lighter socket, connect the special end cap to the

cigarette lighter adapter.

To recharge your organizer in an automobile:

Note: The LEDs illuminate when the correct current is

flowing.

Attach the cigarette

lighter adapter. If

necessary, use the

end cap adapter.

Using the recharger kit in an airplane

The Auto/Air recharger connector enables you to use a DC

socket in an airplane to charge your organizer. If the airplane

has a cigarette lighter socket, see the automobile instructions.

To recharge your organizer in an airplane:

Note: When using the recharger kit in an airplane,always

observe instructions for appropriate times of

operation, and be sure that the recharger connector

isn’t bumped as passengers enter and exit the row.
