Quick Installation Guide
Setting Up Your Keyboard
Turn your computer OFF before plugging the keyboard
into your computer. The keyboard's connector is keyed
for proper insertion. Use the snap-open legs on the
bottom of the keyboard to adjust the slant/height for
your comfort.

Keyboard Functions
The MiniTouch Plus' space-saving design requires the
dual alpha/numeric function of certain keys. Since the
numeric keypad feature is controlled by the Num Lock
key, an inconvenient situation will occur when using a
computer that automatically enables the Num Lock key
with each boot up. Refer to the following solutions:
1. If your computer's BIOS setup utility has a Num
Lock option, set it to OFF.
2. If your computer's BIOS setup utility does not have
a Num Lock option, press the Num Lock key to turn
off the numeric keypad after each boot up.
Num Lock – Embedded Numeric Keypad
Press the Num Lock key to enable the numeric keypad
function. The Num Lock LED at the top right corner
indicates its ON/OFF status. The shaded keys in the
following keyboard layout identify the locations of the
numeric keypad keys.

Fn – Special Function Keys
The Fn key is used with the cursor-control (arrow) keys,
the F1 and F2 keys, and the embedded numeric keypad
to provide several functions. To execute a function
defined on a key within an outline box such as F11,
simultaneously press the Fn key with the desired function
key.
Note: The shaded keys in the following keyboard
layout identify the locations of the keys
associated with the use of the Fn key.

Fn + Cursor Control Keys
The cursor control (arrow) keys will become screen control
keys when used with the Fn key. The screen control keys
PgUp, PgDn, Home, End are defined by your application
and typically move the screen cursor up or down, to the
beginning or end of a screen, or to the beginning or end
of a line.
Fn + F1/F2 Keys
To enable the F11 or F12 function, simultaneously press
the Fn key plus the F1 or F2 key, respectively.
5
Fn + Shift Keys + Alpha Numeric Keypad
To use the alpha character when NUM Lock is turned on:
Press and hold the Fn key to enable the alpha
characters
Press and hold the Fn plus the Shift key to enable
the uppercase alpha characters
